Jennifer Love Hewitt Adam Levine, Jennifer Love Hewitt is a little embarrassed she publicly revealed she’s got the hots for Adam Levine. The Client List actress now feels she ought to apologize to her crush, but simultaneously thinks she deserves a thank-you note.

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Adam Levine don’t appear to be a match made in Hollywood heaven. Days after The Client List actress revealed she’s got her eyes set on the recently single singer, she’s considering issuing an apology.

When given the mic during a recent radio interview and asked if there was anything else she’d like to say to listeners, Jennifer Love Hewitt blurted, “Absolutely nothing, except that everybody is talking about it and Adam Levine will probably never speak to me.”

The Client List actress continued, “I feel like I should write him an apology letter on Twitter or something just to say I’m so sorry I wasn’t thinking that it was gonna turn into this whole thing and I feel bad.”

Still, Jennifer Love Hewitt feels Adam Levine could have at least responded to her remarks with a few pleasantries. The 33-year-old admitted, “I was kind of hoping that he would say thanks for at least thinking that he’s hot. He is hot!”

Hot is exactly what Jennifer Love Hewitt is going for in her new Lifetime role as a single mom that’s, shall we say, making ends meet. However, the actress recently said that while she’s fine with the adult subject matter, she wouldn’t have taken the role if the part had demanded nudity.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

The Ellen DeGeneres Show, In the wake of the overturning of the controversial Proposition 8, Ellen DeGeneres shares her happiness with the audience on her talk show. She expresses her joy during the monologue on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in an episode which airs February 8.

“There was some good news for marriage equality in California yesterday,” she tells the viewers. “For a long time, same-sex marriage was not legal. Then, here in California, it was legal for like 25 minutes. Then it was not legal again because of something called Prop 8, which banned same-sex marriage.”

“And I’m happy to say that yesterday an appeals court ruled that Prop 8 was unconstitutional,” the 54-year-old host continues. “I’m sure the people who oppose it will try to appeal it – but it’s a step in the right direction. So I’m happy.”

From talking about the Prop 8, DeGeneres moves on to her next subject, the One Million Moms protest. “Normally I try not to pay attention to my haters – but this time I’d like to talk about it because my haters are my motivators,” she claims.

“This organization doesn’t think I should be the spokesperson because I’m gay,” she gives the audience a quick overview of how the protest against her arose. “They wanted to get me fired and I’m proud and happy to say that JC Penney stuck by their decision to make me their spokesperson.”

Calling JC Penney’s decision to defend her “great news,” she jokingly reasons, “Because I also need some new crew socks. I’m really going to clean up with this discount.” She adds, “I mean, if they have a problem with spokespeople, what about the Pillsbury doughboy? He runs around without any pants on, basically begging for people to poke his belly. What kind of message is that?”

On a more serious note, DeGeneres comments on the statement posted on One Million Mom Facebook page. “After JC Penney didn’t back down I thought the story would be over. It’s going to go away. Heard about it last week and it did not go away. The group has posted a message on their Facebook page,” she says.

The statement read, “By jumping on the pro-gay bandwagon, JC Penney is attempting to gain a new target market and in the process will lose customers with traditional values that have been faithful to them over all these years. The majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and choose to no longer shop there.”

“First of all, being gay or pro-gay isn’t a bandwagon. You don’t get a free ride anywhere. There’s no music. And occasionally we’ll sing ‘We Are Family’ but that’s about it,” she comments. “Secondly, they said a majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and not shop there anymore. I’d like to read just a few comments from the Million Moms Facebook page.”
