March 26, 2012 by · Comments Off on Mick Jagger Porter Mental Hospital

Mick Jagger Porter Mental Hospital, Sir Michael Philip “Mick” Jagger, (born 26 July 1943) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and a founding member of The Rolling Stones.

Jagger gained much press notoriety for admitted drug use and romantic involvements, and was often portrayed as a counterculture figure. In the late 1960s Jagger began acting in films (starting with Performance and Ned Kelly), to mixed reception. In 1985, Jagger released his first solo album, She’s the Boss, and was knighted in 2003. In early 2009, he joined the eclectic supergroup SuperHeavy.

Jagger’s career has spanned over fifty years. His performance style has been said to have “opened up definitions of gendered masculinity and so laid the foundations for self-invention and sexual plasticity which are now an integral part of contemporary youth culture”. Allmusic has described Jagger as “one of the most popular and influential frontmen in the history of rock & roll”. His distinctive voice and performance, along with Keith Richards’ guitar style, have been the trademark of The Rolling Stones throughout the career of the band. He was once a porter in a mental hospital.

Barbra Streisand Grammys, Monday, E! Reports that Streisand came out of his way to show she loves “Glee” and not trying to look like an enemy. Proof: a couple of tweets “Glee” cast member Lea Michele, who writes: “As if it hurts the Grammys was not enough … surprise waiting on the valet … Ms. Barbra Streisand came to me. I can hardly breathe … ” Its follow-up tweet reads: “It was so wonderful, nature and beyond Nice. I cannot believe I just met my idol. I feel so happy and thankful right now … ” Babs is Good. Now the “Glee” is casting theories about how they would get Streisand at the show.

“She would play something really well,” Matthew Morrison E! “Maybe the lunch lady!” After being accused of snubbing a television show some happy songs, Barbra Streisand continues her mission to prove that it is indeed a Gleek. How so? How to make a little love fest with mutual Fandemonium Lea Michele …

Barbara Streisand sings for the Grammy Awards, some say she stole the show. I did not get to see from here in Germany, but this does not surprise me at all. Of all the stars, singers or actors, I think – well, there really is no more talented or even actually celebrated. My generation grew up listening; watching and yes Barbara show its excellence.

And make no mistake; this lady has a little something dreams are made of, you know – as they say in Hollywood. But so seldom do we really come that ‘a’ – you know? CD or I wonder how many times Happy Valentine’s was accompanied by a development Streisand?

Barbara braces, movies, songs, gossip – oh, wait, Barbara never really move all that gossip a lot – yet another reason to admire. For a list of awards showered on bizillion Barbara over the years, visit our old friend Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia, or surf on over Barbara’s own personal site.

Aerosmith Songs

Aerosmith Songs, Replacement on “American Idol.” It’s funny, it’s unpredictable, he drops F-bombs, and he’ll probably get slapped with a sexual harassment suit before we meet the Top 12, but we love it. (Indeed, if Donald Trump can get away with goose bumps, so can Tyler – Tyler is at least endearing about it.)

In celebration of our new favorite judge – who, incidentally, is still looking pretty good for a 62-years with a rather colorful past – we thought to review some previous Tyler / fun digging up some past Idol performance of Aerosmith’s greatest hits.
First, there is glam-up version of Adam Lambert “Cryin ‘” from Season 8 – with its riffs and screams; he gave Tyler a run for his money. Lambert, who came second after Kris Allen in his season, has received a lot of love to the introduction of the first season 10. Allen, however, was not found. Hmm.
Aerosmith will start recording their next album this weekend, as the lead singer Steven Tyler.

Speaking to reporters at a recent conference call, the singer said he expects to succeed in balancing its commitment to Aerosmith concert with his new American Idol judge.

“We’re already booked for a tour from November to December, which should be in South America and Japan, if what you hear in the press Aerosmith get in the way of American Idol, it is not, “he said.

The 62-year-old added that he and his associates will meet in Los Angeles later this week to begin recording their first album since 2004 from Honkin ‘On Bobo.

“We certainly have been written. I know that s [guitarist] Joe [Perry] got some shots, and I got a bunch of songs I wrote for solo and / or Aerosmith, he said.

Tyler will start a “writing program with the group” working on new songs this Saturday.

Aerosmith have released 14 studio albums since the band began recording in 1973.
