Larry & Shawn King, Larry King and wife Shawn King have not withdrawn their divorce petitions … and we’re told the tipping point is money.

People familiar with the situation tell us nothing is going to happen while Shawn recovers from what may have been a suicide attempt. But before that crisis, we’re told one of Larry’s lawyers presented a proposal to Shawn’s lawyer to undo an agreement he signed several years ago … in which he signed over all 3 of their houses to her.

Larry signed the document after Shawn accused him of sleeping with her sister.

And, we’re told, one of Larry’s lawyers — not Dennis Wasser — submitted a proposal for a new division of property that did not sit well with Shawn.

As one source says, “It will come down to striking a deal on the money issues.”

Shannon Engemann:Larry King and his wife Shawn Southwick both filed for divorce after several heated discussions about a possible case of TV presenter with her sister-in-law, Shannon Engemann (more sexy pictures below). Shannon vehemently denies the allegations.

Shawn Shannon has been accusing of wasting time with her husband from the National Enquirer published a story about an alleged “inappropriate” relationship between the King and Shannon. Shawn believes that gifts from the king to his sister-in-law, are evidence of their relationship.

Shannon said: “This is so ridiculous. She singled me, but Larry has been more than generous for the whole family, including me. Shawn has left me threatening messages.”

Shannon added that “Shawn left me a message …” If you dare to sue the Enquirer I remove all last receipt showing that she had an affair with Larry. “I’m tired of taking the package of things. I had an affair with Larry. It was like a father to me.

“I have a date tonight and I’m not going to worry. I love my sister. What is happening is not my fault,” he said Shannon.

A source told TMZ, Larry transferred several properties, including his mansion in Beverly Hills, on behalf of his wife to show you remain committed to their marriage a couple of years ago, when Shawn began to think he was having an affair.

Shannon is word against his sister. Larry would never admit that he had an issue unless there’s some pretty irrefutable evidence or more fans out. We do not think Larry has sufficient strength to be another Tiger 2.0.

Larry King:According to TMZ — Both Larry King and his recently estranged wife Shawn say that apart Tuesday … this according to documents obtained by TMZ … and we are learning more about the struggle for their very expensive homes.

In divorce papers, Shawn is specifically asking the judge to declare the root of your separate property – their Beverly Hills mansion, a house in Provo, Utah, and a house in St. George, Utah.

TMZ broke the story … Larry transferred home for several years Shawn, after Shawn confronted him for having a relationship with his sister, Shannon – Shannon denies a claim. Larry says he is transferring to show Shawn was committed to the marriage.

In legal documents from Larry, who is asking the judge to void the transfers … although no legal grounds.

In addition to the 3 units, Shawn is asking a judge to declare all the furniture and artwork in the home as her separate property.

Shawn Southwick:Shawn King Shawn Engemann was born in November 1959 in Studio City, California.

She was the wife of television and radio personality Larry King. King has recorded an album, In My Own Backyard, Lofton Creek Records.

King attended Brigham Young University. She married Larry King on September 5, 1997. She is the mother of three children (two with king).

King is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His father, Karl Engemann, is a record industry executive and began working with the Osmond family in the mid-1970s. Shawn’s uncle, Bob Engemann, is an original member of the trio The Lettermen 1960.

Larry King Shawn Southwick and his wife are calling it quits.Each documents filed in Superior Court County of Los Angeles Wednesday, citing “irreconcilable differences,” reports TMZ.

King is asking for joint custody of their two young sons.Southwick is asking for primary custody of children, spouse and children and real estate including Beverly Hills home, she and shared.King King, 76, and Southwick , 50, were married in 1997.

Larry King Carrie Prejean,Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean made a short but dramatic appearance on Larry King Live Wednesday in which she refused to answer an openly gay caller and threatened to walk off the show after King asked questions about the role a sex tape may have played in a lawsuit settlement.
“You sued the pageant after they fired you, they countersued, and then you accused them of a number of things including religious discrimination, clearly an issue important to you,” King asked. “Why did you settle? You don’t have to tell me the terms of the settlement, but why settle since you had a fight to carry on? ”

“You know what Larry. Larry. Everything that was discussed in mediation, I’ll say it again, is completely confidential. I’m not, I’m not gonna be able to talk about that.” Prejean rebuffed.

But King persisted, “So, you can’t even say why you settled? … How does that break what you settled for?”

Prejean insisted it was a confidential agreement and blasted the late night king, “Larry, your being inappropriate. You really are.”

“What?” a shocked King asked. “I’m asking you a question.”

“I’m not gonna talk about anything that was discussed in mediation, its completely confidential,” she says then again calls King “inappropriate.”

Then a caller from Detroit joins the two and admits to be openly gay. Prejean disconnects her microphone.

“I’m a gay man and I love pageants,” the Detroit caller says. “I’m sure that you, Carrie, have got, you know, great gay friends that helped you possibly win. What would you give them as advice if they wanted to get married?
But by now it’s too late. Prejean claims not to have heard the question and refused to acknowledge the Detroit caller. King asks her to put her microphone back on, but she refuses to do so and says, “you’re being extremely inappropriate right now and I am about to leave your show.”

Prejean was fired from the Miss USA pageant in June. She believes she lost her crown because of her opposition to gay marriage. Pageant organizers said she was skipping official events.

Dueling lawsuits ensued with Prejean claiming she was improperly dismissed and the pageant claiming she still owed them for the cost of breast implants they helped her buy.

Earlier this month, Prejean and organizers reached a confidential settlement in both suits amid reports that Prejean settled quickly because organizers had obtained a copy of a solo sex tape she made with a former boyfriend.
