Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Viewers could be in for a shake up this season on Dancing with the Stars. “I still don’t know if I’m on the show,” Maksim Chmerkovskiy tells ET Canada. In good humor he added, “maybe everybody’s going to be really short [this sseason].” At 6’2,” he says, “It’s not going to be a good pairing.”

Meanwhile, producers have made the call to Giuliana Rancic. ”Yes, I’ve been approached for the new season,” she confirmed to E! News about her involvement.

“I’ve been a big fan of the show for years,” she said. “But sadly, my schedule at the moment would never allow for the grueling rehearsal commitment. Who knows, maybe Bill and I can be on the show together one day and go toe-to-toe for the trophy.”

As for Maks, don’t count him out just yet. “I’m happy to return every season,” he said. “Every off-season, something changes, something happens to make me realize how good I have it, and that’s the most important thing. A little bit of competitiveness goes away and a little bit of appreciation takes over and I’m very appreciative of the show and what the show has done for me and for us. And, I shouldn’t be really upset about the little things and appreciate the big ones.”

Karina Smirnoff, The celebrities on “Dancing With the Stars” performed routines celebrating the most memorable years of their lives. That meant turning points, moving stories and personal statements. We also have a clear favorite, although he did not win the most points.

The first Rob Kardashian, who saluted her late father through the fox-trot. The dance had a stop-and-open quality to it, but the judges liked it. “You just put the dash in Kardashian,” Len Goodman raved. Bruno Tonioli servant “Guys and Dolls” which Kardahsian did not know. Chaz Bono made a series of rumba “laugh at me,” a song written by her father, Sonny Bono. Lacey Schwimmer danced around a very contained Chaz. Goodman thought it was her best dance, but Inaba said he did not dance enough. And I’m with her. Ratings: 18 points.

Reality star Kristin Cavallari Beyonce tried to channel the samba. She shook her hair and hips very skillfully. Mark Ballas took her on the dance floor. “Devil woman is fast moving,” said Tonioli. (. That was a delusion, and the other judges were impressed, too) Scoring: 24 points.

Carson Kressley danced a tango in celebration of the success of “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.” It was fun fancy, most of the outside wall of the dance so far this season. (All credit to partner Kressley, Anna Trebunskaya.) “Stunningly brilliant,” said Tonioli. “He put the child in the extravagant,” said Goodman. Inaba Kressley proclaimed her love. Ratings: 23 points. Love does not mean a perfect score.

JR Martinez dances the rumba as a salute to the people lost in war. It was beautiful, but seemed to have trouble Karina Smirnoff in a difficult play. The dance drew a prolonged standing ovation from the studio audience. Inaba dance is extraordinary. Wonderfully moving, Goodman said. Tonioli praised the technique. We have to head this season. Ratings: 26, with 8 of Goodman.

HLN host Nancy Grace offers a waltz attempt at “Moon River” played at their wedding. The shutdown routine that seemed something done at a wedding. Goodman wanted a better posture. Inaba was transported. Ratings: 21. And that was generous.

David Arquette, last dancer, wanted to use the rumba to convey their struggles with alcohol. His partner, Kym Johnson, worked furiously and dynamic. Well done, Goodman said. Wonderful, Tonioli said. Inaba was a nice return last week. Ratings: 24.

The results will be announced at a show at 9 pm Tuesday on WFTV-Channel 9. Mary J. Blige will perform. Who goes there? Bono seems more likely, but Kardashian and Grace are other possibilities.
