Nbc4i, Toward commemorate 66 years of assisting local landowners with conservation issues, Soil and Water Conservation District Muskingum recently hosted “The beauty of nature,” its 2010 annual meeting.

The soil of Ohio and Water Commission has elected a supervisor MSWCD, Lance Deal, for a term of three years starting January 1. Deal serves as chairman and is a farmer near Chandlersville.

The Conservation of Agricultural Resources has been awarded to Francis and Shirley Steffee. The Steffee worked with MSWCD to implement many conservation practices on their farm, including the evolution of spring, drainage, grassed waterways and paddocks for grazing.

Award conservation of non-farm was presented at Friendly Hills Grange Camp for the work they have done on the camp and educational opportunities offered to the community.

Educator of the Year 2010 “was given to Shane Boal (Tri-Valley Middle School) and Karin Kopchak (Zane Grey Basic).

Over 75 applications were received in two divisions, youth and adults for the 2010 Competition of rights. Each division had two categories: “. The beauty of wildlife” “Beautiful Backyards” Winners and adults were Phillip Bohn (backyard) and Chriss Miller (wildlife). The winners were young Brittany Van Fossen (backyard) and Meghan Anderson (wildlife). The winning photos can be found at www.muskingumswcd.org.

The highlight of the day was guest speaker Columbus meteorologist Jym Ganahl NBC4i. Ganahl entertained the crowd with stories of the calls it receives and weather folklore.

Wbns, (AP) – A coroner’s autopsy is the examination Ohio involving a former toxicologist whose credentials are challenged.

WBNS-TV in Columbus reports James Ferguson admitted that he falsely claimed to have graduated from Ohio State University in 1972, but actually graduated in 1988. The station said it also obtained a college transcript indicating Ferguson failed basic courses in biochemistry.

Ferguson did not return a message left by The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Franklin County Coroner Jan Gorniak said Ferguson would have treated thousands of cases during his career from 1976 to 2003.

Gorniak said the review will cover all autopsies where toxicology tests were a factor in determining the cause of death, but we do not know how it is.

Channel 10 Columbus Ohio, WBNS-TV (Channel 10) will broadcast a series of debates in partnership with the Organization of Ohio newspapers, an association of eight of the state’s largest newspapers.

The first televised face-off will be between Senate candidates, Rob Portman, and Lee Fisher, live from Toledo to 19 pm today.

A second debate earlier in the day at City Club of Cleveland, will be broadcast at 14 pm Friday.

Thursday’s debate between Democratic and Republican John Strickland Gov.Ted Kasich in Toledo with air at 20 pm Saturday.

In partnership with ONN and The Dispatch, channel 10 and air will produce the final senatorial debate live from WOSU @ COSI in Columbus at 8:00 p.m. Oct. 12. Debates between the candidates to air on WBNS

10tv, Grandview Avenue remained stopped Friday evening, between Goodale Boulevard and I-670, due to a gas leak, police said Grandview.

While Columbia Gas of Ohio crews contained the leak, motorists cannot travel south on Grandview Avenue to Goodale Boulevard or Exit I-670 northbound on Grandview Avenue, said the police.

Dublin Road was also closed west of downtown, but reopened shortly after 4:00 p.m.

The westbound lanes of Dublin Road were closed at Twin Rivers Drive, near the Grande Poste. A construction crew struck a gas line shortly after 14 hours, forcing the closure, according to WBNS-10TV (channel 10).

Police said Friday night that it might be early Saturday morning before the road is reopened.

Now, back to the station has been broadcasting since 1990 modern rock. They were one of the first to begin simulcasting on the World Wide Web. The late DJ has been with the company since the beginning and has become a beloved part of the community with his personality and events.

The radio station has gone through some changes lately and this is undoubtedly a big blow that nothing will be the same without CD101 is “Andyman.” Did you ever hear the transmissions of this man, and if so what do you think?
