Bethany Storro Facebook, Bethany Storr, a Vancouver woman 28 years of age required for a black woman had thrown acid on her face in an attack, has admitted that he threw the acid on herself. Police are now saying that they saw inconsistencies in the history of Storr from the beginning, says ABC.

Vancouver, Washington Police Commander Marla Schuman said on Friday on Good Morning America: “In truth, there were no warning signs from the beginning,” he said.

“At first only the form of attack, when she is talking about being splashed in the face with acid and the demarcation, the placement of lesions in the face … the idea that wearing sunglasses at 7:30 night when normally doesn ‘t wear sunglasses. Just the little things that just do not add to an image of normalcy. ”

Police announced Thursday that the case was closed, and not to speculate on the reasons for Storr.

Before the confession that the wounds were self-acid-inflicted, Storr received monetary donations and was booked to appear on Oprah. His appearance was canceled after doubts about his story began to circulate. Storr posted a message on his Facebook page, saying: “From the beginning I wanted to inspire people (I hope I have) and tell them about Jesus.”

Following the August 30 attack, several Facebook pages dedicated to Storr were created, along with a wave of public sympathy. Storr is now facing a backlash on Facebook, with burn victims and other members of condemning people to make the attack.

Schuman said prosecutors are deciding whether to charge Storr, adding he was “very remorseful.”

“During the course of the investigation, several discrepancies began to arise in connection with the alleged assault,” said Cook. “During the interview, Ms. Storr admitted were self-inflicted wounds.”

Cook said he knew the reason for the actions Storr, but added he was “very remorseful.” Storr said was being interviewed by detectives during a press conference on Thursday.

Police had been looking for a black woman with a ponytail after Storr described the alleged attack. She had said the woman asked, “Hey, pretty girl, I want something to drink?” then threw acid on her face.

After the incident, Storr made several media appearances, but a scheduled interview on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” was canceled. She said she had received correspondence from people all over the world concerned about their welfare.

At a hospital news conference last week, parents at his side, his face wrapped in bandages, Storr saw the incident, says CBS News correspondent Betty Nguyen.

“It was the most painful thing ever. My heart stopped, I almost fainted,” Storr said.

Storr had been celebrating a new job when he left his car in an upscale neighborhood in Vancouver, Washington

“[It] ripped my clothes acid at the moment he touched the shirt,” Storr told reporters.

The funds were created to Storr at Riverview Community Umpquah and banks. Messages for the banks were not immediately returned Thursday.

Vancouver police commander Marla Schuman said detectives were working on a way to return the money donated to Storr.

Cook said any decision to charge a crime Storr would be at the Clark County Office of the Attorney General. Clark County Senior Deputy Prosecutor John Fairgrieve not immediately return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment Thursday.

“She is very upset,” said Schuman. “In many ways, this was bigger than I expected.”

Schuman asked if Storr will face a charge of filing a false police report, to which she answered. “At this point, yes, it definitely fits”

A burn surgeon who operated on Storr said the substance thrown on her face was a strong acid such as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid.

Police said Thursday they have not yet identified the substance Storr used, or found evidence of acid in your home or car.

Can you imagine pouring acid in a bottle or container and only by approaching a stranger and pouring acid on your face? Probably not. Those of us who have a conscience would never do that. It is absolutely the work of a psychopath.

I hope this was not a hate crime or racially motivated. Bethany robber was a black woman. While she did not say and racial epithets, one has to wonder if she said Bethany, because he was white. I really hope that was not the case at all.

The 28-year-old from Vancouver, Washington spoke publicly for the first time since the vicious attack earlier this week in his hometown.

“It was the most painful thing ever,” he said from the hospital on Thursday. “My heart stopped. It ripped through my clothes at the moment he touched the shirt, I could feel the burn through my second layer of skin.”

Just before the attack, Storr was a cloud over his new job. As a gift, he bought a new pair of sunglasses.

The current proved to be a lifesaver, protecting it from almost certain blindness if the acid had slept a wink.

“Never seen this girl in my life,” said Storr. “When I first saw her, she had this oddity of it – such as jealousy, anger.”

The surgeon who operated on Storr said the fluid was as strong as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid.

While police were looking for his attacker, Storr has one question: “Why?”

Do you wake in the morning my attacker and say that I will “take some acid in a glass and throw it in the first person I see?” Asked Storr.

Despite the severe damage to the face, Storr, who lost much of its audience after two episodes of spinal meningitis as a child, I was happy that I could still see.

Thomas Magill, 22, underwent surgery for two broken legs on Tuesday night after landing on the roof of a Dodge parked in the street.

Thomas Magill Sr., father of the man, said his son was stable.

The jump was an apparent suicide attempt. Witnesses said Magill Jr. was bothered by leg injuries after landing on the vehicle, the impact of sending his shoes flying off his feet.

Guy McCormack, a construction worker in New Jersey and the owner of the vehicle, found the beads in the wreckage that belonged to Magill Jr. McCormack said he believed that the accounts that saved the life of Magill Jr. ‘s.
