Xfactor Voting USAXfactor Voting USA, The final three X Factor contestants promised to give the best performances of their lives on Wednesday, Part 1 of the show’s Season 1 finale. Each act sang two songs: one was a duet with a surprise musical guest and another was a tune they have each sung before.
This week’s voting determines the X Factor champion and recipient of a $5 million record deal (announced 8 ET/PT Thursday on Fox). So who is worthy of the biggest prize in reality TV history? Let’s review the final showings.
Josh Krajcik, in an eerie setting of black-and-white trees and red lighting, started singing Alanis Morissette’s Invited, and then was joined by Alanis herself. After the duo’s powerful voices harmonized, they hugged and Alanis said, “He’s a very soulful man.” L.A. agreed . “That was surreal,” he said. Paula thought Josh held his own with Alanis and stayed true to his identity, but Simon thought Josh was a bit intimidated by Alanis. Nicole defended Josh, saying the sign of a true artist is recognizing the other person you’re singing with.

Chris Rene’s first song was Avril Lavigne’s Complicated, performed in a leather jacket, a tie and with lots of green lighting. Sure enough, Avril, also in leather, joined Chris to sing her song. The two sang like old friends, with Chris breaking into an original rap. Avril said, “I think everyone should vote for him!” Nicole said that Chris sounded shaky at first, but that he had an infectious energy. Paula said, “What a wonderful, current, feel-good performance.” Simon liked when Chris rapped. “I felt your total joy and confidence,” he said. L.A. told Chris he looked “really at home with Avril.”

Melanie Amaro, in all black, sang I Believe I Can Fly and introduced R. Kelly, also in black, who dueted with her. As they belted the uplifting tune, they smiled at each other and even held hands for a moment. They seemed to connect onstage, as if they’d been singing together for years. After the performance, R. Kelly said, “There’s no doubt in my mind this girl is on her way to the moon.” L.A. said, amidst audience cheers of “Mel-a-nie,” “I felt like you got a little bit overshadowed by R. Kelly. I expect more from you.” Nicole said that Melanie did the best that she could, considering the song was out of her normal key. Paula applauded Melanie’s conviction, but said, “I wanted more emotion.” Simon said the duet was incredible. “You didn’t look like someone in a talent competition,” he said to Melanie.

At intermission, there was a performance from Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour. But then – surprise! – the X Factor finalists joined the show’s dancing metal-clad soldiers onstage to sing They Don’t Really Care About Us.

Josh, reprising the hit from his X Factor audition, sang At Last by Etta James and played guitar. His gravelly voice stirred the crowd from atop an LED-lit stage. L.A. said, “You look so at home up there,” and Paula said, “You owned that stage.” Simon appreciated the risk Josh took in playing guitar for his final performance, and said he liked that the song was “all about you.” Nicole said, “Music loves you.”

Chris also sang his audition song, his original Young Homie. This time, though, Chris was guitarless, and instead was backed by over a dozen dancers and a drumbeat. He ran around the stage and hyped the audience, especially the judges. Nicole said, “You’re serving your purpose right now with that song.” Paula yelled “Vote!” and said, “You make everyone fall in love with you.” Simon told Chris, “The was your five-million-dollar song.” L.A. told Chris he loved the performance. “You poured all of yourself into that song,” he said.

Melanie performed Beyonce’s Listen, which was her audtion song . In a sparkly mermaid dress, she sang her heart out. The “Melanie, Melanie” chants returned, and L.A. said, “That was a 50-million-dollar performance.” Paula said the song was “stellar” and Nicole said, “You empowered me.” Simon said to Melanie, “You, to me, should be the winner of X Factor.”

X Factor VotingX Factor Voting, After 162 participants came from “X Factor” auditions, the judges have been gradually reducing competition. With 12 participants to the left, which is finally to the United States to have something to say. After living for two hours tonight episode of “Factor X” were to call and viewers can vote for their favorite of the night.

One group of Paula, Stereo Hogzz, opened the show, accompanied by more than a dozen backup dancers for a highly choreographed performance of Janet Jackson “Rhythm Nation”. Simon looked like he was in physical pain as he himself admitted that “Miss presumed” Paula had done something right. “Not only think you are one of the best bands I’ve seen one of these competitions,” he said. “But I do not think there’s a band in the world right now that are as good as you.” Praise, Simon.

Chris Rene, the first competitor of the group of LA Reid children sang a hip-hopped version of the Carpenters’ “Superstar.” Rene has great charisma and stage presence – plus you can sing and rap. Simon and joked back and forth on the staging, which was engulfed in flames while RenĂ© performs. “You literally put him in hell,” said Simon to Los Angeles, to which the record executive said, “who the hell he’s talking about, that’s called baby, because fire is hot.”

With Dexter Haygood removed – and heartbreaking backstory gone with him – “X Factor”, the producers turned to 60 years, Leroy Bell with emotion, the presentation of its performance Lonestar “I’m already there” Leroy images hang out and talk about the son of 13 years old, who has back home. Cheese factor aside, his performance was strong and the audience loved him, despite not “have” the song choice and Simon said it was “dated”.

Bubbly 13-year-old Rachel Crow ordered the stage and performed like a seasoned pop star Katrina and the Waves “Walking on Sunshine”. TS-EX- joked about how hard it is to criticize it, saying: “.. must be one of the most charismatic people I’ve ever met You’re so adorable” The trial is rarely about the contestants, and more often become passive-aggressive digs the each other – and this session was no different, with Paula and Nicole insulting song selection and the second telling Simon to shut up, while “growth ups are talking.”

Paula decided that each of the four girls in Rayne Lakoda represent one of the four seasons, a trick that both Simon and Los Angeles mocking. The girls performed Fleetwood Mac “Landslide”, and finally were able to sing together, acting as a group instead of the four vocalists who participated in the contest as soloists. Simon made fun of his brightly colored gowns, but the rest of the responses of the judges were totally positive.

Nicole song choice was a strange Josh Krajcik. “Jar of Hearts” Christina Perri He completely reinvented the track and it seemed so natural, it was as if the song were written by his deep voice, hoarse than by a female vocalist. “You can sing anything and I am a believer, since only nails it,” Paula summed up his performance as Nicole tearfully Krajcik said he felt “like a proud mother, but as the same age to does not. “
