Wiz Khalifa And Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa was among those who paid homage to Whitney Houston at Clive Davis’ annual pre-Grammy party at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on February 11, the same spot where the legendary R&B singer had died just hours earlier. The Pittsburgh rapper treated the audience to a live performance of his hits “Black and Yellow” and “Young, Wild & Free” and the next day, on the Grammys red carpet, Wiz said he did his part to help keep the mood uplifted.

“I just really was feeling the spirit of the event,” Wiz told MTV News’ Sway on the red carpet. “I felt like everybody just had that rock star appeal it wasn’t anything somber or sad it was a bunch of rich people who knew who they were and knew what they were representing so I just wanted to bring some flavor.”

Draped in a modest one-shouldered yellow dress, Wiz’s girlfriend Amber Rose agreed that Davis’ party was a joyful affair in honor of Whitney Houston.

“I grew up listening to Whitney in my household constantly,” she said. “Me and my mom cried yesterday when we found out that she had passed away because we really felt like she was a part of our family. We’ve always heard her voice in our house. Life is short and you gotta live it to the fullest. We all love Whitney and last night was a celebration for her life and that’s exactly what we did. We celebrated her life and the amazing person she is.”
