The 700 Club, Christians across America are in uproar about Tim Tebow being ousted from the Denver Broncos in place of Super Bowl champion Peyton Manning, and now televangelist Pat Robertson is summoning the wrath of God against his replacement, saying it would serve the team right if their new leader got hurt.

“You just ask yourself, OK, so Peyton Manning was a tremendous MVP quarterback, but he’s been injured. If that injury comes back, Denver will find itself without a quarterback. And in my opinion, it would serve them right,” Robertson said on The 700 Club, which airs on the Christian Broadcasting Network.

The “30 Rock” star’s mother Alice Warden, who lives in northeast Ohio, is currently in the hole for a reported $25,000. Yet Forbes is stating that Morgan is only willing to bail out his mom with a mere one-time payment of $2,000.

Morgan’s siblings are up in arms about their famous brother. Asia Morgan, who refers to her brother as a “d—–bag” says that Tracy has “never been a nice person and that money has just made it worse.”

Warden’s mortgage company has given her until February 23 to come up with the minimum payment in order to keep her home. The utility company has also sent the 61-year-old Mom a final notice that her lights will be turned off. On top of all of that, Warden’s vehicle is also on the verge of being repo’d.

Asia says that her mother, who has reportedly always taken care of her family to the best of her ability, lost her job last February. Now her unemployment benefits have run out, she is battling diabetes, and she is having problems with her legs.

Warden reportedly approached her son in January of this year, and initially, Tracy agreed to offer his mother some assistance but pulled the plug after he thought that she had done a tabloid interview about him. Warden denies the accusation.

Soon after the tabloid incident, Warden allegedly received a call from one of Tracy’s reps who informed her that the star was willing to give her a “one-shot deal” of $2,000 and that was all. “I told her, ‘Thank you, but no thank you. I’m not some person in the street,’” Warden told the Daily News adding, “That was the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Tracy Morgan Help Mother, Tracy Morgan’s mother says she struggled for years to provide the comedian with everything he needed as a child, but now that she’s out of work and facing foreclosure he’s refusing to help her.

Alicia Morgan, in a phone interview with CNN Wednesday, said she called her son last month to say she needed $25,000 to pay off her mortgage, but his assistant called back and told her, “Tracy would do a one shot deal of $2,000.”

“I was so upset, I told her to tell Tracy ‘Thank you, but no thanks. I am not some person on the street asking you for a handout, I am your mother,'” she said. “And that was the end of that.”

His sister, Asia Morgan, said their mother needs his help soon “so she doesn’t end up on the streets.”

Their mother lost her job last year, reducing her income to $600 a month and causing her to fall behind on her $400 monthly mortgage on her Youngstown, Ohio, home, her daughter said.

“If her mortgage is not paid by February 23, 2012, her home will go into foreclosure,” she said.

Tracy Morgan, meanwhile, released a statement to CNN Wednesday night saying he was “saddened that these untrue stories about me have people questioning my commitment to my family.”

The one-paragraph statement continued, “For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my Mother in 11 years and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister. We all have personal family issues that we have to deal with in life, but I choose to deal with mine in private and not through the media.”

In her interview with CNN, Alicia Morgan said her son offered to pay her mortgage after she was laid off from her job last year.

“I faxed him my account number and my mortgage papers,” Alicia Morgan said. “I thought he was paying it, but after a few months I realized he didn’t pay it off.”

His mother said she heard through another relative that her son was angry about publicity given to the story.

“My nephew said that he spoke to Tracy and that Tracy said he wasn’t going to pay me because I gave an interview,” his mother said. “I never talked to anyone.”

Alicia Morgan has five children with Morgan’s late father, Asia Morgan said.

“She has asked all of her children for help, but we are no in a position to do so,” she said. “We all have jobs, but Tracy is the only one in a position to help.”

Their mother, now 62, says she has trouble walking, has diabetes and her unemployment benefits just expired.

“It took me 30 years or more to buy a home,” she said. “At times I worked two to three jobs to support my children. They always got what they wanted, including Tracy. No one took care of them but me.”

Tracy Morgan, 43, grew up in Brooklyn, but his mother moved the family to Youngstown in 1995, a decade after he left home, his sister said. He rose to fame as a “Saturday Night Live” cast member and now stars on NBC’s hit sitcom “30 Rock.”

“We have tried to get in contact with my brother Tracy, but he changes his phone number all the time, so we have no way of talking to him,” she said.

His mother said she did not understand why Morgan “chose himself not to be with the family.”

“When we told Zack (this week), he just screamed, ‘Nooooo waaaay!’ ” says his father, Pat McLeod, who along with his wife, Tammy, work as Harvard University chaplains. ” We are hoping Tim will throw him a pass. Zack still has great hands.”

One thing is certain: McLeod will receive a Tebow hug.

The son of evangelical missionaries, Tebow – voted America’s new favorite athlete in the latest ESPN Sports poll – says giving a warm embrace and words of encouragement to those in need “puts everything into perspective” before an important game.

“We’re playing a game, and you want to win, but you know that it’s not the end of the world,” Tebow says . “Even a bad loss on the football field is better than spending a day (recovering) in a hospital.”

Tebow discussed a wide range of topics in an exclusive interview with USA TODAY this week, including how he copes with his fame, which seems to gain by leaps and bounds with each week.

Star QBs, A former Dallas Cowboys QB’s daughter, Gina Carano, can succeed where few others have, The new Steven Soderbergh action movie “Haywire” opens today and the early reviews for the flick starring MMA star Gina Carano are mostly positive.  The movie also stars Fort Worth’s own Bill Paxton.

FASCINATING FACTOID: Gina’s father, Glenn Carano, was a quarterback and a second round draft pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 1977 draft. Glenn played for the Cowboys from 1978 to 1983 appearing in 36 games. He led the Cowboys to a 10-9 win against the Bears on Thanksgiving Day in 1981 when he completed 6-of-15 passes for 131 yards.
If memory serves, the final margin was provided when Ed Jones blocked a Bears’ extra point attempt in the fourth quarter.
Carano was Danny White’s backup that season, and on the sidelines when the Cowboys lost in the NFC title game against the 49ers via Dwight Clark’s “The Catch”.

His daughter, Gina, has surpassed his popularity and become a massive MMA star/sex symbol for … well, obvious reasons.
Haywire is her first movie. Historically women have not fared too well as action stars because audiences haven’t bought in.

Geena Davis gave it a shot in the 1996 movie ‘The Long Kiss Goodnight’ with Samuel L. Jackson. Not a bad movie, and Geena Davis was good, but the movie didn’t score a huge hit.

Bridget Fonda wasn’t too bad in the 1993 movie, ‘Point of No Return’.

Even the very fit and strong Jennifer Garner in the TV hit Alias while fun and entertaining lacked a certain physical element.

Carano, however, possesses a certain weight and a physical element that few female stars have ever possessed. She’s good looking, but she also knows how to fight. You can easily buy Carano beating the hell out of someone whereas believing the smaller Bridget Fonda working over a bad guy is harder to believe.
