The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn, If the Oscar Awards 2012 takes notice of the best actors, actresses and films, there’s The Razzies that announce the worst. Unluckily, “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” receives 8 nominations of which includes the nomination for worst picture.

Though it isn’t quite as unlucky as compared to Adam Sandler who receives the worst blow, he gets 11 nominations including worse actor and actress.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 1,” the fourth movie in the film series based on Stephenie Meyer’s young adult novels, grossed $283.5 million globally and $139.5 million in the U.S. and Canada.

The Twilight Saga

The Twilight Saga, It’s the beginning of the end for author Stephenie Meyer’s tales of Bella (Kristen Stewart), vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and werewolf Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in this first half of the concluding story. It certainly advances the characters, as Bella and Edward wed, then become expectant parents … but their forthcoming child has potentially drastic significance to others.

Much to his credit, director Bill Condon handles scenes that could have been real seat-squirmers – not that they still aren’t, to a certain extent – with style and sensitivity. Other cast returnees include Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser. DVD extras: two “making-of” documentaries; audio commentary by Condon; “Bella & Edward’s Personal Wedding Video.” *** (PG-13: AS, P, V) (Also on Blu-ray and Movies on Demand)
