Tcu vs Utah

There are some that argue that TCU is perhaps the best team in the country, and certainly worthy of national championship consideration. Others say that the fact that TCU plays in the Mountain West Conference holds them back, despite dominating in nearly every single one of their games. They don’t have the big name pedigree of Texas, Alabama and Florida, but it’s tough to say that there’s another team playing better than the Horned Frogs.

Up 38-17 at halftime over No. 14 Utah, TCU is on its way to another statement game against a big opponent. After the Utes tied the game 7-7, the Frogs rattled off 28 straight points with a balanced passing and rushing attack and some opportunistic defense.

Unless both Florida and Alabama stumble somehow or Texas goes down in the Big 12 championship, it’s going to be tough for TCU to find a way to play for the national championship. Every season it seems there’s always one team that proves the shortcomings of the BCS system; this year it’s TCU.
