Charlie Sheen Fired After 7 Years

Charlie Sheen Fired After 7 Years, Throughout his recent rants about CBS, Warner Brothers and his own drug use, Charlie Sheen insisted that he was ready to return to work on the hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men.”

On Monday, Warner Brothers disagreed, firing Mr. Sheen from the show, claiming the actor’s “statements, conduct and condition prevented him from performing his essential duties.”

The company’s terse official statement read, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men’ effective immediately.”

With that, the studio took the unprecedented step of firing an actor from one of the highest-rated programs on television. Warner Brothers, which owns and produces the series, will decide about the future of the program at a later date, a spokesman said.

Neither Warner Brothers nor CBS would comment further on whether an attempt would be made to continue the show without Mr. Sheen. But one senior executive informed of the decision to fire Mr. Sheen said that the fact that the series was not canceled Monday was an indication that an effort was under way to produce another season.

Warner Brothers laid out its rationale for firing Mr. Sheen in a letter to his lawyer Martin D. Singer, which included an extensive recounting of what it called “dangerously self-destructive conduct” over the last several years on the show.

The letter, which was obtained by TMZ.com, said Warner, CBS, and the show’s executive producer, Chuck Lorre, had made “accommodations for the off-camera (yet very public) aspects of Mr. Sheen’s life.”

It cited the publicity surrounding his divorce and custody battle with the actress Denise Richards in 2007, and his arrest and subsequent guilty plea to a charge of assaulting his then-wife Brooke Mueller in 2009.

It also mentioned an episode in October 2010 at the Plaza Hotel in New York when he was accused of trashing a room and threatening a paid escort, and parties in Las Vegas and his home this year at which he was said to have consumed large amounts of cocaine and alcohol.

The Warner Brothers lawyer, John W. Spiegel, also cited the events of January and February, saying that Mr. Sheen’s public behavior, including his verbal attacks on Mr. Lorre, the show’s creator, and condition “so undermined the ability of Warner Bros. and Mr. Lorre to produce the show that suspension and termination were required.”

Specifically, the letter cited his “physical appearance, inability to deliver lines, inability to collaborate creatively with staff and crew, inability to work with the executive producers, inflammatory comments poisoning key working relationships, and frustration of the show’s creative environment by the public spectacle of his self-inflicted disintegration.”

Charlie Sheen Odd Behavior

Charlie Sheen Odd Behavior, Charlie Sheen has played up his ‘bad boy’ image in a new ad for Fiat. After his entertaining antics in 2011, and his even more entertaining refusal to show the expected contrition for his drug use, Sheen’s reputation as a rebel has attracted Fiat, which is aiming to peg the new Fiat 500 Abarth as the bad boy of … small hatchback cars.

The actor, who was fired from hit sitcom Two and a Half Men last year, is seen in the advert speeding around an opulent mansion as a party full of beautiful women takes place.

The partygoers seem oddly unbothered by a car tearing through the home, and even cheer on this show of white knuckle driving, which we’re pretty sure would break many health and safety regulations.

When the car finally skids to a halt and a mulleted Sheen steps out (complete with location-monitoring bracelet on his ankle), he’s met by a gorgeous party guest. “I love being under house arrest,” he tit-wittedly remarks, lasciviously adding to his new friend, “What do I get for good behavior?”

The ad ends with the slogan, “Not all bad boys are created equal.” Head of Fiat’s branding Olivier Francois thinks Sheen is the perfect fit for the car, saying in a statement:

“Charlie Sheen personifies the edgy and fun attributes of the Fiat 500 Abarth.”

Selma Blair

Selma Blair, Selma Blair has been blatantly honest on details of motherhood and has now opened up about her post-partum hair loss, claiming that she’s going to go bald. “This is so not glamorous, but it’s true,” Blair told People magazine. “I need to take longer showers so that I can collect the hair that falls out and throw it away so I don’t clog the drain. Why do actresses never talk about that?”

According to the What To Expect website, post-pregnancy hair loss is normal and occurs when pregnancy hormones, which tend to make hair thicker, return to normal levels. It may take up to a year for a new mother’s hair to return to its normal state.

Blair welcomed her first child, son Arthur Saint Bleick with her boyfriend Jason Bleick on July 25.

“It just started falling out at the three-month mark,” the 39-year-old actress continued. “And I’m not a girl who likes extensions, so Selma’s going to be bald!”

Blair and Bleick, a fashion designer, met while the two were collaborating on his EVER fashion line. Blair announced her pregnancy back in January.

Even though she wasn’t happy about the hair loss, Blair was excited that her son could finally hang out in a bouncy chair.

“He rolls over now and he got a bouncy toy! It’s like the biggest moment of your life: ‘Oh my gosh, I get 10 minutes free now!'” Blair told People. “Before, he had a play mat, Mommy or Daddy or now a nanny that comes for a few hours in the daytime, to hold him. But now, autonomy! He got a Fisher-Price Jumperoo — I wish I had one for every room!”

Six weeks after giving birth, Blair told reporters that she hadn’t lost a single pound since welcoming her son Arthur.

“I actually haven’t lost any weight since the day I left the hospital,” Blair told to Us Weekly in September. “I still weigh the exact same number. I haven’t really been focusing on that at all, because I’ve been running around to different things like Toronto [International Film Festival] and Venice [Film Festival].”

The 39-year-old actress still looked glowing as she promoted her latest film, “Dark Horse” at the Venice Film Festival, wearing a tight emerald green Roland Mouret dress and Salvatore Ferragamo pumps to a photo call for the film.
