Sarah Michelle Gellar, Buffy the Kimye slayer! Sarah Michelle Gellar threw some serious shade at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s first-ever Vogue cover on Friday, March 21, shortly after the Anna Wintour-approved April issue was revealed.

“Well I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription,” Gellar tweeted. “Who is with me???”

While many fans agreed with Gellar, the Crazy One star’s comment also elicited a defensive quip from Kardashian’s bestie, Jonathan Cheban. “Do u matter?” he said, retweeting Gellar. Cheban, along with Kardashian’s closest family and friends, celebrated the couple’s fashion bible coup Friday afternoon.

Vogue editor Wintour also defended her controversial choice to place the reality TV star and rapper on the issue’s cover in her Editor’s Letter.

“As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort,” Wintour, also the creative director of Conde Nast, wrote.

“Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that.”

Sarah Michelle Gellar, The ‘Ringer’ star says her husband ‘loves’ being a stay-at-home dad, but she’s ‘jealous’ Sarah Michelle Gellar at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
When it comes to raising their daughter, Charlotte, 2, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze, Jr. are hands-on parents. Sarah Michelle Gellar recently made her long-awaited return to TV in CW’s hit Ringer, and although she enjoys being back on television, it’s hard to be away from her daughter.

“It’s hard to see Charlotte’s little face when you say you have to go to work. It’s sad!” Gellar said, according to US Weekly “But you make time for everything. You work it out.”

Gellar says her husband is a stay-at-home dad when she’s at work, and he doesn’t mind.

“He loves it. We fight over who gets to stay home,” Gellar told Us Weekly at the Operation Shower fundraiser for expectant military moms. “You’d think it would be the opposite, that the parents would be like, ‘No, I’ll go to work!’ but he’s like, ‘You stayed home for two years! It’s my turn!'”

“When Charlotte was born, Freddie was on ’24’ and I didn’t work for two years.” She had explained. “I had asked him, ‘When I’m ready to go back to work, will you stay home with her then?’ He was like, ‘Fine!’ He loves it. I think I’ve created a monster!”
