The national organization has unveiled a new Girl Scout cookie, ‘Savannah Smiles,’ to celebrate its 100th anniversary. This year, a new Girl Scout cookie will join the usual lineup of Thin Mints, Samoas, and Do-Si-Dos: In honor of Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary, the club has unveiled Savannah Smiles, a lemon-wedge shortbread cookie dusted with powdered sugar.

The new treat is named after Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low’s hometown, Savannah, Ga. According to the Girl Scouts website, the new cookie has a strong lemon flavor and recalls Girl Scout cookies of the program’s early years.

“This lemon wedge cookie is cool and crisp, with just the right number of lemon chips to deliver tiny bursts of flavor,” says a press release for Little Brownie Bakers, the company that produces Savannah Smiles and several other Girl Scout cookie varieties, including Samoas and Trefoils. “And, when you hold it right, you’ll quickly be reminded of that world-famous ‘Brownie Smile.’ ”

The Girl Scout cookie program began in 1922, when the Girl Scouts’ American Girl magazine published recipes for simple homemade sugar cookies, suggesting local troupes sell them as a fundraising activity. The organization began licensing recipes out to commercial bakers in 1936. Today, Little Brownie Bakers and ABC Bakers are the two licensed companies.

The Girl Scouts sell an estimated 200 million boxes of cookies per year, at around $3.50 per box. Of the 11 cookies currently available, the most popular are dark chocolate Thin Mints, which make up 25 percent of all sales. Samoas and Tagalongs are the other big sellers, comprising 19 and 13 percent of sales, respectively.

Not all cookie varieties are quite so successful. The Girl Scouts have discontinued scores of cookie varieties during the program’s run, including Aloha Chips (with macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips), Apple Cinnamons, Double Dutch (chocolate cookies with chocolate chips), and the raspberry jam-filled Ice Berry Pi?atas.

Despite Girl Scouts’ efforts to make their cookies healthier (in 2007, several recipes were reworked so that they had zero trans-fat), the health-minded cookie offerings sell terribly. Many sugar-free and 100-calorie cookies have been briefly available, all disappearing quickly. Daisy Go Rounds, a 100-calorie replacement of the retired Cinna-Spins, only lasted two years (2009-2011).

Indeed, Savannah Smiles sound remarkably similar to another discontinued cookie, the Lemon Cooler (lemon-flavored cookies dusted in powdered sugar). But will it buck the trend and have the staying power of more enduring cookies?

Just weeks from the premiere, the popular reality hit, gearing up for only its second season, was originally thought to be faced with the possibility of cancelation. The editors scrambled to get the job of re-editing done, but it’s clear they made it in time – as Bravo Television announced their plans to go ahead as scheduled, and reveal “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season two on September 5.

The Labor Day premiere is sure to have fans and foes talking about the scandal that hit the airwaves just a few short weeks ago, when Taylor Armstrong’s estranged husband Russell Armstrong’s suicide rocked tabloid headlines.

Now the real question is – what was on the show, before Russell’s untimely death? It was made clear from Bravo TV’s season one of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” that the couple weren’t on the best terms – but after crying fits and a few arguments, it seemed like they had both worked it out – at least to the point where they could safely raise their daughter.

Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, The feud between Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Lisa Vanderpump and Adrienne Maloof seems to be getting stronger by the day. After being accused of being jealous by Adrienne Maloof, the British businesswoman is publicly denying any such behavior.

“You’d think women would encourage each other instead of getting catty. I was taken aback by what I consider to be her classless comments on my new business and how she approached the bachelorette party. I truly felt that she was envious of what we’ve accomplished and maybe what they say is true – jealousy is the root of all evil,” Adrienne Maloof wrote on her Bravo blog.

“This is all a bunch of nonsense,” Lisa Vanderpump just told RumorFix in response. “I couldn’t be jealous of anyone and I’m certainly not catty. I’m a very busy woman with absolutely no time for this nonsense. I don’t hate any of my cast mates, I like them all. Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, In this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Adrienne visits Lisa to teach him to cook. Bernie, the cook, looks plaintively. The best part is when Adrienne puts soap to clean the chicken. The truth is that there is no hope of Adrienne in the kitchen.

Taylor has more than Dana and Kyle with their children and talk about Brandi … again. Kyle resents accusations against Kim Brandi made yet. Taylor had lunch with Brandi and said deflated and felt very bad about what happened. Kyle felt a little bad, but still no love there.

Lisa visits her friend Mohammed in her house to discuss launching a huge engagement party, the style of Arabian Nights, in her mansion, Pandora.

Adrienne is planning a spa day for girls at home, including manicurists, estheticians, masseuses, bartenders, cooks, and everything you can imagine. Kyle shows first, and then Dana and Taylor. Kyle Kim admits she was rude, but think Brandi still need to apologize. Brandi says she is not willing to apologize to Kim, and finally decides he has to leave. As he leaves, she cries to anyone Adrienne is back and Adrienne says that’s not true. Um, yes it is! As a viewer, I’d like Brandi just stand firm on this. Brandi I have the back!

After leaves Brandi, Brandi says Adrienne has no filter, Lisa says that it will not work, Kim said that tears were an act, and Kyle says that they were not angels either. Camille just realized that this was what happened last year.

All I know is that these women decided on Kyle charity event before the Games Night of hell, not going to like Brandi, and then made it possible. They should be ashamed of themselves. It’s disgusting.

A drunk and her sister Kyle Richards walked into a huge fight at the party of Taylor Armstrong 39th birthday than their husbands watched in shock.

“You’re a liar, and the sick, and alcoholic beverages. You’re an alcoholic.’s True. I have said and everybody knows it,” Kyle said to her sister.

At then end of the episode, viewers got an update: “Kim’s family into rehab a week later, she stopped on her She takes life one day at a time…”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills final season made all the headlines this morning, especially when Kim Richards is concerned. The media welcomed the show as “the most shocking episode yet, if it needs more hyping. The claims come after Kim and Kyle’s sister was a bust on the show is driving Kim into rehab.

The fight took place at a birthday party and degenerated into a desperate race, alcohol fueled slagging match. Husbands and other spectators watched in shock events, but over all it was great for the cameras and the public. Of course, all this really proves that the celebrity lives of both covet the viewers are no different from the life of the average person leads. They get drunk, they say, they go shopping, they sleep … WOW!

Have our lives become so commonplace that the only way we can entertain ourselves with a setting shows “reality” and embroil us in the life of the so-called “rich and famous?

By stepping up for these shows, celebrities (famous for being famous), as Kim Richards does not differ from Tamagotchis. You certainly remember the Tamagotchi, a thing shaped like a small egg with a screen that displays a digital creature, depending on how you have treated, it would take different forms and behave randomly, especially when pooped beeps.
Kim Richards is an alcoholic? Who knows?

The star of 46 years of “Desperate Real Beverly Hills” was in rehab by her family at the end of the show’s final season offensive on Thursday night.

The painful decision was taken after Kim and her sister, Kyle, got an alcohol-fueled war of words to the birthday party of fellow castmate Taylor Armstrong.

The shouting matches between Taylor first started and well drunk on a fight Kim previous women had during a trip to New York.

The women eventually retreat to their limousine, which Kim calls Kyle a “f ** king lame”, while Kyle accuses Kim of being “delusional” and “insane.”

It crowns with “You’re a liar … [and] you’re an alcoholic!” Yeah, right. I said now, and everybody knows it. ”

The struggle has continued to increase with Kyle claiming her husband sends Kim, single mother money every month.
