Ups Plane Crash Dubai, A plane has crashed today in the Emirates road in Dubai according to recent reports. The Dubai air crash is believed to be caused by a Boeing 747-400. The plane, which was confirmed to belong to UPS, crashed at about 8 m, local time, while driving to the UPS station in Cologne, Germany.

UPDATE: The plane was flight 6 UPS OMDB / DXB Dubai EDDN / CGN. The registration number is N571UP, a variant 747-44AF/SCD Boeing.

Witnesses said the plane crashed near UPS & Global Village Academic City in Al-Ain Road Dubai, 20 km from Dubai International Airport, 2 minutes after takeoff.

UPS Airline and International Operations Director Bob Lekites said in a statement:

“This incident is very unfortunate and we will try to find the cause. Our thoughts go to the crew members involved in the incident and their families.”

Al Arabiya spoke with an officer and learned that the plane tried to land at the airport, when he suffered technical problems that led to plane crash, against the main reports say he went to Germany. Local media added that the plane caught fire while the pilot tried to land.

Residents of the area are reporting through social networking sites saw the plane very close and that the accident was followed by a large amount of fire and smoke.

Information on passengers and the survivors are still scarce.

Ups Plane Crash, Now UPS confirmed Friday that one of its cargo planes dropped in Dubai, killing all crew on board, local media reported.

“At approximately 12 pm EST, 6 UPS flight from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Cologne, Germany, 747-400 (N571UP) with two crew on board crashed on takeoff. At this time, we have not confirmed any casualties” UPS said in a statement.

The sources said the Boeing 747 cargo plane dropped about 20 kilometers from Dubai International Airport, near a military camp in the United Arab Emirates, in an unpopulated area. According to the official news agency WAM, the entire crew on board the aircraft died in the accident.

According to aviation sources, the cargo plane reported a fire in the cockpit, as he was trying to land at Dubai International Airport and then went off the road.

“We will not speculate on the cause. Until then, we ask your patience in this difficult time,” said UPS.

In October 2009, a Boeing 707 cargo plane crashed in Sudan after taking off from Dubai, killing six crewmembers.

Dubai Plane Crash, Today a plane has crashed near the Emirates Road, Rescue Teams Sent, and a busy road in the Emirate of Dubai in UAE near Dubai International Airport.

Al Arabiya TV reported that the plane crashed between 8:30 and 21:00 local time at the popular tourist town.

Great News Network correspondent in Dubai reported smoke seen billowing near the crash site, although the authorities have blocked access to the motorway.

Rescue teams are reported to the scene with an airport official who described the plane as a cargo ship UPS.

No reports yet on what caused the crash or how many people were aboard, although the station is informing each person have been murdered.
