Miss Philippines Answer, On Monday night marked another of Miss Universe in the can, with the crown goes to Miss Mexico. The big question in the headline Tuesday was, Miss Philippines were losing the crown on his answer in the Q & A segment?

A: “I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation do not have maps and I believe that our education like such as South Africa and Iraq, everywhere, for example, and I think they should, our education over here in the U.S., should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help Iraq and the Asian countries so we can be able to build our future us. ”

Q: “If I could be water or fire, would you be and why?”

A: “Well, I’m a human being, and I do not know how to be a fire or water, and for that reason we really have no answer to this question because I am a human being. I am a girl who has the fire and emotion that has no water. ”

Q: “If you were given the opportunity to choose to become beautiful, but not too smart, or very smart and not beautiful, what they prefer and why?”

A: “Well, I would rather choose to be beautiful, because to be naturally beautiful. But you can learn to be smart, you can learn a lot of things. You can learn many things from experience; you can learn a lot of things to be smart. ”

A: “In my opinion, Pearl Harbor, which took place on December 7, 1941, is the most important event in the history of our nation because] [long pause, and that ended the Great Depression and were forced to World War II. ”

A: “We are the land of the greats. From the rocky shores of Hawaii to the beautiful sandy beaches of Hawaii, USA is our home.”

Jimena Navarrete, LAS VEGAS – AFP – Jimena Navarrete of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe on Monday in a surprise victory that surprised a world contest which had predicted a winner out of Ireland, Venezuela and the United States.

The 22-year-old from Guadalajara, resplendent in a flowing evening gown red ruby, said plans to study science of nutrition, but has been modeling since I was 15 years.

Is expected to spend her year as Miss Universe to draw attention to the plight of people with HIV / AIDS and breast cancer, according to pageant officials.

Beyond the diamond encrusted tiara placed on her head moments after Miss Jamaica, 24 years old, Yendi Phillipps, was declared runner-Navarrete received a grant from one year to the New York Film Academy, a year’s supply of shoes, clothes and hair products. His coronation ends the reign of the outgoing Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez, 19, of Venezuela.

The final two hours was free of political controversy that has erupted in recent years at this event, even though the last five contestants from each sent a question.

Question Navarrete, who came from Olympic gold medalist skater Evan Lysacek, asked his opinion on what to do with the problem of children who use the Internet without proper supervision.

She replied vaguely, but obviously it properly. “I think the Internet is an invaluable tool, necessary for the present time,” said Navarrete, the first Mexican winner since 1991.

“We must be sure to teach the values we learned as a family.”

The judges clearly were pleased. Former Miss USA Judge Alicia Jacobs, based in the Events Center a row in front of Miss Universe owner Donald Trump said Navarrete was a favorite in the final after five were announced.

The winner of the contest ownership of the Trump Organization, Donald receives a cash prize, jewelry, designer clothing and shoes, along with New York apartment and expenses paid for a year and a scholarship to the New York Film Academy either the acting or film making programs. She will spend the year traveling around the world and devote their time to charitable causes.

Parade judges were the actor William Baldwin, Chynna Phillips actress and singer, music artist Sheila E, Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, actress Jane Seymour, supermodel Niki Taylor, a correspondent for NBC Tamron Hall, actor Chazz Palminteri illusionist and Kris Angel.

Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete Miss Mexico is Universe.She 2010 won the title Monday night (August 23) during the live NBC broadcast of the contest in Las Vegas. Miss Jamaica Yendi Philipps was the first runner up, Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell, Miss Ukraine, Miss Philippines Anna Poslavska Venus Ramirez – who was the favorite online – complete the top five.

Navarrete took the Miss Universe Stefania Fernandez, who won last year’s competition representing Venezuela.

Navrrete had the second highest score in the top 15 (behind Philipps) in the swimsuit competition and was the top scorer of the night after-party dress.

The five finalists handled their interview question very well. The judge asked Evan Lysacek Navarrete on the effect of unsupervised Internet use among young people. She said that while the Internet is a “must have” adults should be aware of what their children are viewing online.

Her fellow contestants gave Campbell the award for Miss Congeniality while Miss Thailand won Miss Photogenic Fonthip Watcharatrakul and favorite national costume award.

“Today” co-host Natalie Morales and “Celebrity Apprentice” winner Bret Michaels led the broadcast.

Yendi Phillipps, LAS VEGAS – AP – A woman from Mexico 22-year-old has won the Miss Universe pageant after wearing a flowing red dress and tell an audience that is important to teach kids family values.

Jimena Navarrete was the first to reply to a question from the interview on Monday night and the last of the 83 contestants standing in the headline-grabbing competition on the Strip in Las Vegas.

Navarrete waist dress flowed behind her as she spread as a layer. Earlier smiled with a purple bikini with confidence as he strutted across the stage.

Navarrete asked whether children should use the Internet unsupervised and said the Internet is an indispensable tool of our time.

First runner up was Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, while the second runner up was Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell.

LAS VEGAS (AP) – The Miss Universe has been reduced to an end after five contestants swimsuit and evening gown competitions.

Now, it’s all about your interviewing skills.

The contestants of Ireland, Albania, South Africa, Guatemala and Puerto Rico were ejected Monday night after walking the stage in Las Vegas in long, flowing dresses. He previously took the stage in purple bikini.

The five finalists are: from 22 years of age, Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete, 19 years old, Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell, 24 years old, Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps, 23 years old, Miss Anna Poslavska Ukraine and 22 -year-old Venus Raj, Miss Philippines.

Campbell won the Miss Congeniality Universe. Miss Thailand won Miss Photogenic Fonthip Watcharatrakul Universe and a second prize for the best national costume.
