Boston Bad Boy

Boston Bad Boy, Anthony David Magliaro (November 6, 1956-November 13, 1999) was an American professional wrestler and manager, known by the ring name “Boston Bad Boy” Tony Rumble. He competed on the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic independent circuit during the 1980s and 90s.

A longtime veteran of Angelo Savoldi’s International World Class Championship Wrestling, he also was the owner of the New England-based Century Wrestling Alliance and an independent wrestling promoter until his death in 1999.

Although having little prior training, Magliaro was one of the earliest wrestlers to compete for then International Championship Wrestling in 1984. As “Tony Rummell”, he would face Abdullah the Butcher and Bruiser Brody during his rookie year as well as former WWF wrestlers the Tonga Kid and “Superstar” Billy Graham during his singles career. In 1986, he briefly teamed with Rocky Raymond as The Boston Bad Boys who together faced The Midnight Rockers in an interpromotional match with the American Wrestling Association before feuding with “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas as the masked “Dungeon Master” the following year.

Mark Wahlberg 9/11, ACTOR Mark Wahlberg quickly apologised today for claiming he would have subdued the 9/11 hijackers.  “If I was on that plane with my kids, it wouldn’t have went down like it did,” Wahlberg said in an interview released today by Men’s Journal. “There would have been a lot of blood in that first-class cabin and then me saying, ‘OK, we’re going to land somewhere safely, don’t worry.'”

His comment drew a quick and stern rebuke from the widow of a man who fought the 9/11 terrorists on Flight 93, causing the jet to crash in a Pennsylvania field instead of reaching its intended target in Washington, DC.

“Does Mark Wahlberg have a pilot’s licence?” Deena Burnett-Bailey said to TMZ. “Then I think hindsight is 20/20 and it’s insignificant to say what you would have done if you weren’t there.”

Burnett-Bailey has said her husband, Thomas Burnett, called her from the plane and said he and two other men planned to storm the cockpit.

Burnett-Bailey’s response prompted a swift apology from the 40-year-old star of the new box office hit Contraband, who conceded to TMZ that he had crossed the line.

“To speculate about such a situation is ridiculous to begin with,” Wahlberg said. “I deeply apologise to the families of the victims that my answer came off as insensitive, it was certainly not my intention.”

It is not the first time Wahlberg has expressed his anguish over the fateful series of events. The actor was scheduled to be on one of the Boston-to-Los Angeles flights that crashed into the World Trade Center on 9/11. He changed his travel plans a week before and flew to Toronto for a film festival instead.

In 2006, he said, “We certainly would have tried to do something to fight. I’ve had probably over 50 dreams about it.”

Mark Wahlberg, Wahlburgers, the hamburger restaurant co-owned by brothers Mark, Donnie Wahlberg and Paul, is open for business.the 120-seat restaurant is located in Hingham Shipyard, MA, near his hometown of Boston. It officially opened its doors on Tuesday, October 25. A day earlier, the brothers and their mother, Alma, attended a red carpet launch.

Mark Wahlberg is known for his acting projects, such as “The Fighter” and “The Departed” and is a former member of New Kids on the Block, Donnie Wahlberg is all-male pop group. Paul Wahlberg is a chef and also operates an Italian restaurant called Alma Nove, located in the same shopping center that houses Wahlburgers.

Among the foods offered on the menu are a hamburger Wahlburgers Thanksgiving, described as “leftovers from Thanksgiving on a bun” and consists of “fresh, ground turkey, seasoned stuffing, cranberry sauce Paul orange red, roasted pumpkin and mayonnaise “and a BBQ Bacon Burger, which is described as” a weekend barbecue spiced bread, turkey or beef topped with bacon, avocado, jalapeno peppers, white cheddar cheese barbecue sauce. ”

Hot dogs are also on the menu and sides are Tater Tots, Tots sweet potato fries and Yukon gold onion rings. Future offerings include a salmon burger, a burger with mushrooms and “adult frappes drunk,” according to the restaurant page of Twitter.
