TMZ broke the story … Kris claims all the money he and Kim made from the wedding and surrounding events went into a joint bank account and he hasn’t taken a penny. But our sources say … not true.

According to sources, Kris — who raked in a million bucks from the wedding and somewhere between $250,000 and $300,000 for his appearances on the reality show — HAS withdrawn some of his loot … but he spent a big chunk of the withdrawal on the wedding and Kim’s ring.

Sources close to the ex-couple tell us, the money Kris made on the realty show was transferred directly into one of his business accounts … separate from Kim.

The Vow isn’t just another cheesy Hollywood love story about something that would never really happen– it was actually based on the real life couple, Kim and Krickitt Carpenter, who endured the same terrible tragedy that Paige (Rachel McAdams) and Leo (Channing Tatum) did in the movie.

Kim and Krickitt were in a two-truck collision leading Krickitt to go in a coma for weeks after the accident. When she finally woke up she had amnesia and couldn’t remember the past 18 months of her life all of which included Kim.

Kim said in an interview with a local news station (video below) that when Krickitt finally woke up from the accident the doctors would ask “who’s your husband” and she responded saying “I’m not married.” So sad!

Krickitt, understandably, would get frustrated with Kim and tell him to “go back where you’re from.” But Krickitt says that she made a promise (a VOW) and it was her faith that kept her and Kim together.

The couple wrote a book in 1996, The Vow: The Kim and Krickitt Carpenter Story, which is set to be re-released now that the movie is in theaters.

Now whether or not the real story was full of ex-fiances, divorce, and crazy parent-love affairs we don’t know, but it was based on this couple who had to start from the beginning, getting the know each other all over again after already being married.

Kim Kardashian Wedding, Kris Humphries claims Kim Kardashian won’t return wedding gifts & he never saw his. Kris Humphries hasn’t seen one of his wedding gifts since his Aug. 20 wedding to Kim Kardashian, and a source tells HollywoodLife, one of his biggest issues in his divorce battle is that he wants every gift to be returned to its original sender.

“She won’t return the wedding gifts,” a source close to Kris and his family says. “One of the super expensive wedding gifts they received was a Ferrari and he thinks it, like all the other gifts should be returned to its sender.”

Adds the insider, “Kris has never seen any of his gifts. He doesn’t have a list of any of the gifts. He feels the gifts are communal property in the marriage and therefore, they should have been at least divided 50/50.”

Additionally, you’d think Kris, 27, would at least know what happened to his rightful property, but he’s in the dark, just like the rest of us.

“He’s read in the magazines that she’s returned some of the gifts and exchanged them for Rolex watches,” the friend explains. “He also heard a rumor she returned the gifts and gave the money to charity, but he doesn’t know about that either.”

Like the gifts, which he’s had no control over, the source close to the Humphries family maintains Kris had no control over anything in the wedding.

The 28-year-old model announced earlier last year that she was planning her venture into the music world, and has been using advice given to her by her rapper boyfriend. While many may not have taken Amber seriously, she has released the cover art of the single.

Shot in black and white, the artwork includes a side profile of Amber’s head with the title and her and Wiz’s name on the top.
