Jersey Girls J Woww Reunite, Looks like the Jersey Shore girls can still throw a good party! Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and her BFF Jenni “JWoww” Farley-both of whom are pregnant and expecting babies with their fiances-reunited with some of their other former MTV costars at a shower for first-time mom-to-be JWoww in May.

Snooki, who will welcome her second child, a daughter, with Jionni LaValle this fall, shared a picture from the bash via Instagram on Monday, June 2. “Friends forever at @jennijwowwmtv’s baby shower!” she captioned the photo, which shows the “prego BFFs” posing with Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola and Deena Cortese.

Alongside another snapshot-this one a close-up of Snooki and Cortese-she wrote, “I found a meatball.” (The pint-sized guidettes formed “Team Meatball” in season four of their MTV reality show.)

Snooki revealed her second pregnancy exclusively to Us Weekly back in April, just a few months after JWoww announced her pregnancy in December. “Jenni’s going to be a very protective mom, a loving mom, but like that mom that screams in the grocery store because she doesn’t give a s–t,” Snooks, 26, previously said of her BFF, who’s engaged to marry Roger Mathews.

Added her BFF: “I don’t give a s–t. I’ll punch you in the face if you try and judge me on how I discipline my daughter. I think because of Roger and I’s stature, she’s not gonna do anything to piss us off, ’cause I’ll just be like, ‘Daddy’s gonna deal with that when he gets home.'”

Mtv.com Jersey Shore, (AP) – Visitors crowded into Times Square on Friday to wait for the fall-story New Year’s Eve Ball, the largest of the numerous events held across the country to inaugurate in 2011. Eager to shake off the time that marked the abrupt end of 2010 in many states were Revelers celebrate New Year with parties, fireworks and musical performances.

Heavy snow was forecast in the Great Plains and rain in some midwestern states was expected to dampen some of the festivities. But the holidays seem relatively clear in California, which has been soaked by rain record winter, and along the corridor of snow socked the Northeast.

Michelle Lawrence of Underground Atlanta, which organizes the annual Peach Drop City, said the event usually attracts about 100,000 people over 17 hours of New Year’s events. The evening will feature music, a carnival and shops open late, “she said. Visitors carrying alcohol, weapons, pets or lawn chairs would not be permitted, said Lawrence.

Christy Maes, a 29-year-old Chicago resident, had planned to visit Canada for the New Year, but instead headed to Atlanta to avoid bad weather.

The ball in Times Square, Waterford Crystal and 12 feet in diameter weighs almost 6 tons and holds more than 32,000 LED lights.

Each year, the ball is redesigned with new crystal panels – 2669 to 2011 sphere adorned with a heart pattern to cut lock maximum brightness and refraction.

A crew of about a dozen people, including engineers and technicians, assembles the ball in the basement of the building in Times Square, from which he fell.

“This is a major operation,” said Jim O’Leary, director of Waterford Crystal designs worldwide.

O’Leary said he chose “Let There Be Love” as the theme for this year’s Times Square celebration.

“It is about what’s happening in the world today, with all the problems and conflicts, economic recession – everything else,” he said. “At least we can love each other, there will always be love.”
