Jerry O’Connell, Jerry O’Connell, who is making his Broadway debut this season at the seminar, will host the October 13 episode of Live! with Regis and Kelly.

The actor, who will be filled in for host Regis Philbin Kelly Ripa contrast, returns for his fourth time co-hosting the live show, national speaking, the last time I co-organized in January 2011. Joining O’Connell and Ripa as guests of the country Thursday will be the superstar Taylor Swift and American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina.

O’Connell is best known for his work in film and television as Jerry Maguire, Stand By Me, advocates, and Crossing Jordan.

Seminar, written by Theresa Rebeck, focuses on four young writers who are participating in a private seminar taught by the great Leonard, but unpredictable, international literary legend.

The cast also includes Hamish Linklater, Hettiene Park, Lily Rabe, and Alan Rickman.
