Jenny McCarthy Sherri Shepherd, “The View” gave viewers quite the surprise Monday when co-hosts Sherri Shepard and Jenny McCarthy ditched their clothing to report in the buff.

The ladies were discussing a recent episode of “Girls” and followed in Lena Dunham’s footsteps by appearing nkd on camera.

“Thank you, thank you!” McCarthy said as the audience cheered loudly.

“You know Lena, she gets press every week for being nkd,” Shepherd, 46, added. “So we’re jumping on the bandwagon.”

Unlike the HBO series, Shepard and McCarthy’s goods were covered by black boxes but it still left plenty to the imagination.

“It’s true,” McCarthy, 41, quipped. “We want more ratings too.”

As they proceeded to discuss the episode in which Dunham wears provocative lingerie in an attempt to get her boyfriend’s attention, Shepard made an observation all her own.

“Wait a minute!” she shouted. “Look at my box. Why is my black box so much bigger than yours?”

While McCarthy was censored just around her breast area with her shoulders and midriff exposed, Shepard was completely covered from the breast down.

But her cover up didn’t stop McCarthy from grabbing her breasts behind the big black box bar obscuring the audience’s view.
