Blue Angels San Francisco, (AP) – Jonathan Sanchez launched the San Francisco Giants back into the playoffs after an absence of six years and also provided a clutch hit, beat the San Diego Padres 3-0 Sunday to win the NL West title.

Thousands of sailors and Marines visited the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island, with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit engaged, guided-missile destroyer USS Pinckney, guided missile frigate USS Curts, fight against landmines and USS USS Pioneer Chief of the Coast Guard Cutter Active USCGS and coastal defense vessels HMCS Whitehorse and Canadian HMCS Brandon will have the opportunity to enjoy the sights of San Francisco’s world-class tourism and charms.

The Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squad will rock the city with shows along the Embarcadero on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, capping an air show 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The sight of so many heroes of our nation is back in San Francisco take us back to the days when the city was known for the pride of the Navy – in fact a hub of the Pacific Fleet during World War II and for decades that followed.
