Chad Ochocinco, With his future on the Patriots in question, Chad Ochocinco is trying to do good by anyone he can — in this case NYC — dropping nearly $8,000 on a massive fried chicken dinner last night … for 200 local fans.

 In case you don’t follow him on Twitter — the football stud sent an open invite to anyone in the New York area … offering a free dinner to the first 200 people to show up at the famous Sylvia’s soul food restaurant in Harlem.

Needless to say, hordes of people came — just check our video for proof — and sources tell us, Ocho treated the hungry mob to a full array of Southern-style deliciousness … including BBQ ribs, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and red velvet cupcakes.

Sources at the restaurant tell TMZ, Ocho spent $7,914 on grub altogether — but they wouldn’t specify how much he tipped. Now if only Ocho could make more than 15 catches a season …

Tami implies that infidelities are going to be a major issue between Ev and Ocho especially because of their money and fame, something Tami faced when she was married to Kenny Anderson.

When asked if being with an athlete is “toxic,” Tami says that you have to be aware of what the situation is and with all of the women throwing themselves at your baller, you need “a strong mind and a thick skin.”

Tami may be right on the money. On last night’s episode of “Basketball Wives,” Evelyn confronted Chad about his rumored trysts and the things she was hearing about him from social media and the blogs. “Everybody’s your homegirl, everybody’s your girlfriend,” Evelyn accuses Chad and chastises him that, “I don’t think you realize that it’s a problem.”

Chad doesn’t seem too shaken but seems to want to make things work, especially when Evelyn eventually breaks down. She’d rather him be honest and if he is cheating, let her know. Chad then opens up the (bedroom) door and asks her about having an open marriage, letting him invite other women into their relationship to keep the spark alive. Evelyn seems ambivalent but doesn’t outright reject the idea.

Most recently, in a Sister 2 Sister interview, Jen accused Evelyn of being jealous of her friendships with fellow reality vixens Mashonda and Nene Leakes, a statement that had Evelyn fuming.
