Angelina Jolie & warlord verdict,, Hollywood star and activist Angelina Jolie greeted the conviction of a Congolese warlord Wednesday, praising the Hague court for its “strong message against the use of child soldiers”.

The International Criminal Court in its first verdict found Thomas Lubanga, 51, guilty of abducting and conscripting children as young as 11 to fight and kill in a conflict in a gold-rich region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

After watching from the front row of the public gallery, Jolie in a statement said that “the delivery of the ICC’s first verdict is an important moment for the court, for the DRC and for the rule of law”.

“Most of all, it sends a strong message against the use of child soldiers,” she said, adding that she hoped the conviction would also “provide some measure of comfort for the victims”.

She could sleep next to Brad and I don’t even think he’d know the difference. Heck, she could even go after Brad and he might just think his wife’s being frisky.

However Lina decides to cash in or not cash in on her similarities to Angelina is up to her, but it’s got to be a mixed blessing. It would be confusing to have your own beauty and sexiness sort of taken away from you because someone else more famous had it first.

I’m sure this isn’t the last we’ll see of Lina. Who knows, she could be wearing sunglasses right now, carrying six kids, getting hounded by fooled paparazzi. Where Lina stops and Angelina begins may be this year’s biggest thriller.

Angelina Jolie & Wedding?, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have always prided themselves non-traditional family – but if the rumors are correct, are about to do something very traditional. Us Weekly reports that Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 47, is planning to marry in the coming months.

We know, we know – you’ve heard that before. But this time, says the magazine, which has been confirmed by three different sources. (Three! That’s more than two!) According to one of these inside sources, the wedding will be “intimate and informal.” The magazine suggests that the wedding could take place in massive French chateau, which comes equipped with a 16-century chapel and a moat. (Of course, the gap does not fit so perfectly into the theme of the wedding, but we must find a way to incorporate – perhaps a nice romantic gondola ride or something how often do you get a chance to use the file. pit?)

While we cannot vouch for Weekly sources, we can say that Brad and Angelina have certainly looked more marriage-minded lately. Or at least, Brad has. In May, Pitt told the U.S. weekend might need to tie the knot for the sake of their children.

“The children asked questions about marriage. That is, more and more to them,” said the star Moneyball. “So it’s something we have to look.”

Pitt also issued a statement in support of the new State of New York’s law on marriage equality. As you may recall, the Jolie-Pitt declared that he would not marry until everyone in this country is legally able to do so. But even Jolie never says never, admitting that she and Brad are “not against marriage.”

We hope that marriage is the card Brangelina, if only because her six children would be the prettiest part of the wedding ever. And who knows? In a few months, maybe they’ll be ready to do our – er, your – wedding dreams come true!
