Minneapolis Star Tribune, (AP) – The cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have declared emergencies in the snow.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune reports declared a snow emergency at 10:20 on Saturday. This means that drivers can not park on the routes used by the snowplow from 21 am Saturday at 8 pm on Sunday, or until the streets have been plowed curb to curb.
Emergency Snow St. Paul begins at 9 pm on Saturday. That means no parking on streets marked as night plow roads. Parking restrictions on roads marked as the day begins plowing roads at 8 pm on Sunday.
More cities should declare snow emergencies with similar parking restrictions as the storm continues.
