Michael Douglas has cancer
Wall Street star Michael Douglas has been diagnosed with throat cancer after doctors found a tumor in his throat, his representative told People.com on Monday.
Douglas, 65, is scheduled to undergo radiation and chemotherapy for eight weeks and is expected to recover fully. “I’m very optimistic,” the Oscar winner said in a statement. No further details were available.
Zsa Zsa Gabor in serious condition
Zsa Zsa Gabor said RadarOnline, 93, who was back in hospital on Friday in Los Angeles following complications from hip surgery, took a turn for the worse on Sunday after emergency surgery to remove blood clots . Gabor requested and received the last rites of the night, his representative, John Blanchette, says Los Angeles Times. Her husband, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, and their daughter, Constance Francesca Hilton, were with her.
