Suh Hit On Delhomme, Saturday night against the Detroit Lions, and he will miss practice for a while, coach Eric Mangini said Monday.

Sorensen is not expected to play in the game of the Browns preseason fourth and final year on Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.

Sorensen, a key player on special teams, was injured when his helmet collided with two Lions players as he ran down the field on kickoff coverage. Mangini also expressed relief at his press conference after the game Saturday, adding that Sorensen’s wife, Danielle, is seven months pregnant.

”This could have induced premature labor,”Mangini said.

Players from both teams knelt and prayed while Sorensen was on the floor.

”It’s part of the game, and it is difficult,”said Bowen. ”That can happen at any time. It can occur in practice. It can happen, no pills. Every day we take the risk of hurting ourselves, whether a head injury, leg injury or anything. It is a harsh reality. It is part of the game. We are grateful that was not as bad as we thought.”

Brown declined the invitation

Hall of Fame running back Jim Brown does not plan to attend the inauguration of the Ring of Honor Browns Sept. 19 at Cleveland Browns Stadium.

While Browns players talked in the locker room before practice Monday, they made different predictions about how the NFL will Suh coup. Backup quarterback Seneca Wallace, Suh said, should be suspended.

After the Lions practiced Monday, Suh told the Flint Journal:”It’s not my job to worry about whether a guy really hit me too hard or not. He was behind the ball and trying to make a play, and that’s what I’m going to keep doing.”

In response to a comment from Wallace, Suh said,’’that’s unfortunate. That’s his opinion, he is right. I mean, I just want to go out and play hard, that’s my main goal.”

Hard Decisions

NFL teams are required to reduce their list of 80-man today to 75 players and 53 on Saturday. There are several players on the roster for the Browns who are on the bubble.

”I think they are going to be some tough decisions,”Mangini said. ”In the place running, I think Chris Jennings did some good things last year. I think that Alex Smith has done some good things at tight end, so [he could] to the number of tight ends to maintain. Peyton Hillis, if you want to put it on the list as a fullback or broker [is a] factor.”

Mangini also said rookie running Montaria Hardesty,”to play against Chicago, so [we] will be able to take a look at it. All these things come into play, so those are the tough decisions. This is a good part of having the fourth preseason game.”
Brownies, Tight end Benjamin Watson and offensive lineman John St. Clair missed practice on Monday for personal reasons, “said Mangini . . .. Tight end Robert Royal did not practice either. He walked by the locker room before practice with a walking boot on his right leg . . .. The offensive lineman Floyd Womack, who has been inactive for the entire preseason with knee problems, also spent some time in the locker room and seemed in good spirits.

National Hurricane Center Tracking, U.S. National Hurricane Center said Monday that Hurricane Earl is becoming a powerful storm during the next day.

The hurricane has become so strong because of their stay in the Caribbean with winds of 105 mph.

“Hurricane conditions are spreading in the Northern Leeward Islands and will be extended westward in the Virgin Islands later today, officials said.

“Earl is expected to be a major hurricane tonight or early Tuesday.”

The National Hurricane Center in Miami is continuously monitoring the projected path of Hurricane Earl and warned that the Category 4 storm heads for the coast of the United States of America.

Earl is also believed to be headed toward North Carolina authorities have warned people of the state, which could be reached Friday afternoon.

The Blaze, From San Francisco police say a woman who committed suicide by jumping from a burning apartment 8th floor can be set on fire in an attempt to assassinate a man inside.
Police said the woman died after jumping from the apartment in the neighborhood of the city before dawn net on Sunday.

The medical examiner’s office says the woman’s identity is being withheld until his relatives are notified.

Police said the 35-year-old man who was in the apartment was treated for burns at the hospital and is expected to survive.

The rest of the building, which is about 5 blocks from City Hall, has not been damaged.

Police said the task force fire investigation into this incident as a possible case of domestic violence.
