Dixie Carter Cause of Death, Endometrial Cancer,The Actress from the series “Designing Women, Dixie Carter died a few days ago as we reported and the cause of death was unknown. Today, as the day dawned reports started coming that endometrial cancer may be the cause of his death. Memorable star famous for her role as Julia Sugarbaker on the series died with her husband Hal Holbrook.

The lady was suffering from complications associated with endometrial cancer. The statement was confirmed to her fans by her husband as the cause started the trend on the Internet and her husband had to speak in public, to clarify things.

So what is cancer of the endometrium?

It is that rare form of cancer in the lining of the uterus wall, which reacts slowly and takes the life of the individual. If treated early cancer is curable and has led to successful outcomes. This is a very common type of gynecologic cancers in the U.S. with people who have very little knowledge. About 35,000 women have already been diagnosed with this cancer.

Cancer occurs within a few decades of menopause and is mostly associated with excessive estrogen exposure and results in vgnal bleeding. A surgical removal of the uterus is the most common therapeutic approach to healing. Endometrial cancer is also sometimes referred to as uterine cancer.
