Montgomery County Schools

Montgomery County Schools, Montgomery County Public Schools will open two hours late Tuesday because of winter weather. Morning programs half a day, including morning kindergarten and morning half-day Head Start are canceled. The activities begin at 10:30 am or earlier and excursions are also canceled. The bus service will be provided on a schedule of two hours late.

Administrative offices will open on time and day care programs in schools will remain open as scheduled.

D. C. Public schools are opening two hours late.

Maryland:
Prince George’s County, Anne Arundel County, Howard County and Frederick County schools will be closed. Montgomery County, the County of St. Mary’s, Calvert and Charles County Schools open two hours late.

Virginia:
Prince William County, Loudoun County, Fauquier County, Manassas and Manassas Park City Schools will be closed. Fairfax County, Arlington County, Alexandria, the city of Falls Church, Spotsylvania County and Stafford County Schools will open two hours late.

The federal government:
Federal offices in the Washington area are open on Tuesday, but workers can take leave or unscheduled telework at home if necessary.
