Mickey Rourke Pulled Teeth For Soccer Role, Mickey Rourke has always been a bit a lot of a badass, but this takes the cake. A while back it was reported that Rourke was interested in adapting the story of the first openly gay rugby player, Gareth Thomas, to the big screen, and Rourke himself wanted to play the part. Rourke also said that he’d learn Welsh and — here’s the kicker — get his front teeth removed in order to realistically portray the athlete.

So, fast forward to now, and here’s Mickey at LAX today with what appears to be missing teeth. He didn’t really open his mouth fully, but some of the angles appear that he actually went through on his word. Now that, my friends, is what you call dedication to your job.
