Maria Schneider Butter Scene, RIP, French actress Maria Schneider died after a long battle with cancer. She was 58. Schneider became known in 1973 as the star of 19 years of ertic masterpiece, “Last Tango in Paris”, but the actress never matched these heights beginning.

The actress, whose real name is Christine Marie Gelin, became famous worldwide after playing the controversial film “Last Tango in Paris” with Marlon Brando. His family announced her death.

Schneider was born in Paris March 27, 1952. She was the daughter of French actor Daniel Gelin and Romanian-born Marie-Christine Schneider. His first film was in 1969 when she was only 17 years.

However, her greatest achievement as an actress was in 1972 when director Bernardo Bertolucci cast her for his film “Last Tango in Paris.” Schneider has played the role of a young Parisian woman named Jeanne incurred.

The film was banned in several countries because of its explicit content. Schneider has appeared nked in several scenes as her character engaged in a sexual relationship with a charge d’affaires middle-aged American, played by Marlon Brando in an apartment near the Pont de Bir-Hakeim.

The scandal stems primarily from the scene of anal rape with the use of butter as a lubricant. The film was banned in the United States, United Kingdom, Spain and other countries but not in France.

French actress said later that Brando had the idea of the scene of butter. Due to the heavy criticism received, Schneider never played a role that required nudity or partial nudity.

“I was young, innocent. I do not understand what I was doing now I regret all the fuss around me disoriented, “said the actress a decade after the film’s release.
