Grocery Coupons

December 30, 2010 by

Grocery Coupons, The Pledge Vegan began in the United Kingdom by Vegan Campaigns and came to Philadelphia last year by the Network for peace advocacy. This year, Phoenixville resident Allison Memmo Geiger, in conjunction with the PAN, which carries the commitment, is vegan in his hometown. Similar commitments were in Philadelphia and Baltimore this year. Commitment under Vegan, 30 participants undertake to maintain a vegan diet for 30 days with the support of mentors and other vegans in the Phoenixville area.

Geiger is to create packages of care with vegan food and coupons for those who join the commitment of Phoenixville. And she holds weekly meetings where there will be a support, a chance to ask questions, cooking classes, demonstrations and more to help guide those who are committed to the entire month of veganism.

Geiger said that the commitment to give people the tools to start a vegan and vegetarian to remain after 30 days. The Pledge Phoenixville begins Jan. 9 and runs until February 6 and places are available for those interested. Besides cooking demonstrations and classes, Geiger said she also hopes to have outings to local restaurants that have vegan options menu. She said she wants to help those involved to manage social situations and what to look for the restaurant. There will also be a grocery store tour, a seminar on nutrition and advice on how to stay vegan while traveling.
