Dodgeball, The Victoria Sports & Social Club (SCSSV) prepares to launch its second season Jan. 31, offering dodgeball, volleyball, and indoor soccer, and basketball and floor hockey. SCSSV offers mixed recreational sports leagues, tournaments, outdoor adventures and social events for adults, bringing the community and its members together. We offer a healthy competition with an emphasis on fun that is available to all skill levels. Registration for the Winter 2011 season ends Jan. 25.
Not only SCSSV an impact on the community, but SCSSV also provide an outlet for people to stay active in the New Year! By providing a flexible means to join, as an individual with few friends, and team SCSSV invites everyone to come out and play. In partnership with local pubs, like the Fernwood Inn, members can continue the fun off the field and take advantage of free food! SCSSV easy it is to fight against the winter blues and stay active during the winter months.
Tim Eberts, Sports Manager of the Victoria Sports & Social Club, said: “We are creating a community of like-minded people who like having fun, being active and social life. Most of us are very busy and we SCSSV help prioritize things. SCSSV offers a wide range of recreational sports, taking the intimidation factor and make it fun for everyone. Not only do we build community by connecting people from different social and professional networks, we are promoting a healthy lifestyle and keep people active while having a good time to do so. It is a great way to meet new friends and making new connections. “
