December 24, 2022 by · Comments Off on ‘Bomb Cyclone’: Record-breaking blizzard hits US, Canada

The blizzard has engulfed many areas of the United States and Canada, affecting the lives of about 14 million people, while about 1.5 million people are without power as a result of this storm. It is being described as the coldest Christmas in America in decades.

At least six people have died in various accidents in the United States as a result of this storm, which connected to the coasts of both countries and extended to the Mexican border.

Around 200 million people have been advised not to travel due to bad weather warnings during the Christmas holiday, the busiest time of the year for travel.

Flights have been canceled at major airports in Canada and the US as the blizzard rages on. 60% of the US population has been affected by this storm while many power lines have been damaged by strong winds. Some educational institutions have been closed in Toronto and other cities.

Weather forecasting agencies have said that some parts have recorded a temperature of minus 57 degrees Celsius.

Five countries joined the investigation into the plan to bomb the Chinese Prime Minister in an Indian plane

As a result of the efforts of Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, the ‘Afro-Asia Conference’ was held in Bandung, Indonesia in April 1955. The Chinese government had chartered Air India’s ‘Kashmir Princes’ aircraft to transport its representatives and Prime Minister Chou Enlai to Indonesia.

The plane arrived at Kai Tak Airport in Hong Kong from Bangkok at 12:15 pm on April 11. There, the aircraft was cleaned under the supervision of Flight Engineer AN Karnik.

Meanwhile, co-pilot Godbole said, “Today we will have an opportunity to meet Chinese Premier Chou Enlai who will be traveling on our plane.” He got this news from the airport’s ground staff who were cleaning the plane and cleaning it. They were refueling.

It was widely reported in Hong Kong that the Prime Minister of China was going to travel on this plane. Given that there were a large number of anti-Chinese Taiwanese agents in Hong Kong, the Chinese government should not have let this news get out.

A World Cup Hidden In A Shoebox That Was Never Found Again After Disappearing

Just a few weeks before the start of the 1966 World Cup in England, an extremely rare item was put on display at London’s Westminster Hall.

It was the Jewels Rimet trophy of the Football World Cup, which was awarded to the winning team of the World Cup every four years since the 1930 World Cup.

One day on March 20, when the security guards were resting, she suddenly disappeared from the hall. How it all happened, no one knows.

A religious ceremony was to be held in this building on the same day and a crowd of people was to be present. Security guards later discovered that the back doors of the building had been broken in and the trophy had been stolen from the display case.

Thieves bypassed the £3 million worth of stamps in the case and made off with the £3,000 trophy.

Britain’s secret agency, Scotland Yard, immediately launched an investigation into the high-profile robbery that had now become global news.

The loss of this trophy shortly before the start of the World Cup was certainly a headache for the English Football Association (FA), so it was immediately decided to produce a replica of the same trophy so that if the original trophy was not found, at least the replica can be given to the winning team immediately.

The theft of perhaps the world’s most valuable trophy began to look like the script for a thriller when FA chairman John Mears received a note one day.

The note read, ‘Take the trophy from me for a ransom of 15,000 pounds.’

Elon Musk, Twitter Reinstates Suspended Accounts

December 17, 2022 by · Comments Off on Elon Musk, Twitter Reinstates Suspended Accounts

Twitter has become one of the most popular platforms for journalists. But what happens when Twitter decides to suspend or delete a journalist’s account? Mastodon is an open-source social network that is slowly gaining popularity as an alternative to Twitter. Some journalists have already made the switch to Mastodon, and more may follow if Twitter continues to crack down on its users.

In the past few weeks, Twitter has been in the news for suspending a number of high-profile accounts. These suspensions were widely criticized, with many people arguing that Twitter was censoring certain points of view. Twitter has now announced that it will be reinstating all of the suspended accounts. This decision has been welcomed by many, who see it as a victory for free speech. However, not everyone is happy with this decision. Some people believe that Twitter is still not doing enough to combat hate speech and abuse on its platform. In this blog post, we will take a look at both sides of the debate and try to understand why Twitter made this decision.

Twitter Reinstates Suspended Accounts

As of late September, Twitter has begun reinstating accounts that were previously suspended. This change in policy comes after months of user outcry and criticism directed at the social media platform.

The new policy will see Twitter restoring access to accounts that were suspended for violations of the company’s rules on abusive behavior. In order to have an account reinstated, the user must first delete all tweets that violate Twitter’s rules and agree to abide by the platform’s Terms of Service. Once these steps have been completed, the user can submit an appeal to Twitter and have their account restored.

This change in policy is a victory for those who have been critical of Twitter’s handling of abuse and harassment on the platform. For too long, many believe that Twitter has been too quick to suspend accounts without due process. This new policy gives users a chance to appeal their suspension and have their voices heard.
