Ripa Caught In Different Kind Of Photo Scandal

September 25, 2014 by · Comments Off on Ripa Caught In Different Kind Of Photo Scandal

Ripa Caught In Different Kind Of Photo Scandal, On the ‘Late Show,’ Kelly Ripa revealed she, like many other celebrities as of late, experienced some trouble with a selfie she put on the Cloud.

Kelly told David Letterman she and her husband share an iCloud account with her father-in-law and mother-in-law.

She admitted she really didn’t know how it worked.

So when she tried to send what she calls a ‘belfie’ or a butt selfie in her underwear to her husband, it accidentally got into the wrong hands.

‘So I send it to my husband, and my mother and father-in-law respond from their e-mail. And they’re like, ‘Dear Kelly, we are so proud of all the hard work. Your exercise classes are really paying off.”

Yeah, that’s a little awkward. But Kelly says she wasn’t too embarrassed — in fact, she’s taken clothed ‘belfies’ before on her show ”Live with Kelly and Michael.”

She even took one backstage at the “Late Show” and showed it off on Instagram with the caption, “Will Dave figure out what a ‘belfie’ is?” Well, he definitely knows what it is now!

Woman Beat By Cop Wins Hefty Settlement, A woman punched repeatedly by a California Highway Patrol officer on the side of a freeway in an incident caught on video will receive $1.5 million under a settlement reached Wednesday night, and the officer has agreed to resign.

CHP Commissioner Joe Farrow confirmed the settlement in an emailed statement and an attorney for Marlene Pinnock confirmed the dollar amount for The Associated Press.

The agreement came after a nine-hour mediation session in Los Angeles.

“When this incident occurred, I promised that I would look into it and vowed a swift resolution,” Farrow’s statement said. “Today, we have worked constructively to reach a settlement agreement that is satisfactory to all parties involved.”

The statement said that Officer Daniel Andrew, who joined the CHP in 2012 and has been on paid administrative leave since the incident, “has elected to resign.”

Andrew could still be charged criminally in the case. The CHP forwarded the results of its investigation of the incident to Los Angeles County prosecutors last month, saying he could face serious charges but none have been filed yet.

US Man In North Korea Given 6 Years Of Hard Labor

US Man In North Korea Given 6 Years Of Hard Labor, North Korea’s Supreme Court on Sunday convicted a 24-year-old American man of entering the country illegally to commit espionage and sentenced him to six years of hard labor.

At a trial that lasted about 90 minutes, the court said Matthew Miller, of Bakersfield, California, tore up his tourist visa at Pyongyang’s airport upon arrival on April 10 and admitted to having the “wild ambition” of experiencing prison life so that he could secretly investigate North Korea’s human rights situation.

Miller, who looked thin and pale at the trial and was dressed completely in black, is one of three Americans being held in North Korea.

Showing no emotion throughout the proceedings, Miller waived the right to a lawyer and was handcuffed before being led from the courtroom after his sentencing. The court, comprising a chief judge flanked by two “people’s assessors,” ruled it would not hear any appeals to its decision.

Earlier, it had been believed that Miller had sought asylum when he entered North Korea. During the trial, however, the prosecution argued that was a ruse and that Miller also falsely claimed to have secret information about the U.S. military in South Korea on his iPad and iPod.

Several Arab Countries Offer To Join Air Campaign On ISIL

Several Arab Countries Offer To Join Air Campaign On ISIL, Several Arab countries have offered to join the United States in air strikes against Islamic State targets, U.S. officials said on Sunday, indicating a possible widening of the air campaign against militants who have seized parts of Iraq and Syria.

The officials declined to identify which countries had made the offers but said they were under consideration as the United States begins to identify roles for each country in its emerging coalition against jihadists who have declared a caliphate in the heart of the Middle East.

The addition of Arab fighter jets could strengthen the credibility of the American-led campaign in a region skeptical of how far Washington will commit to a conflict in which nearly every country has a stake, set against the backdrop of Islam’s 1,300-year-old rift between Sunnis and Shi’ites.

“I don’t want to leave you with the impression that these Arab members haven’t offered to do air strikes because several of them have,” a senior U.S. State Department official told reporters in Paris.

Obama’s Ship is Sinking

Obama’s Ship is Sinking, The rising clamor over the beheading of two Americans, and rapidly sinking polls, forced President Obama to reassure the nation last week he had a plan to deal with the Islamic State. He did some of what he had to do, but only some, and so most military analysts believe the expanded airstrikes will not be a sufficient match for the size and weaponry of the terrorist army.

They miss the point. The disjointed speech wasn’t really about t*rror*sm and launching a new war. It was about saving Obama’s presidency.

He is sinking fast and could soon pass the point of no return. In fact, it may already be too late to save the SS Obama.

The whole second term has been a string of disasters, with the toxic brew of his Obamacare lies, middling economic growth and violent global breakdown casting doubt on the president’s stewardship. Six years into his tenure, nothing is going as promised.

Earlier on, he could have trotted out his teleprompters and turned public opinion his way, or at least stopped the damage. But the magic of his rhetoric is long gone, and not just because the public has tuned him out.

They’ve tuned him out because they’ve made up their minds about him. They no longer trust him and don’t think he’s a good leader.

Most ominously, they feel less safe now than they did when he took office. Americans know the war on terror isn’t over, no matter what their president claims.
