Current-Snowfall-TotalsCurrent Snowfall Totals,Current Snowfall Amounts | www.usspost.com:Current Snowfall Totals, a vicious storm hit the U.S. mid-Atlantic on Saturday, discarding large snowfall amounts by city and causing travel to grind to a halt. The Current Snowfall totals to 20 to 30 inches (51 to 76 cm) are estimate from Snowfall totals Virginia to southern New Jersey by Saturday evening when the storm is predictable to move out to sea. Up to 21 inches (53 cm) of snow had fallen until 6 a.m. EST (1100 GMT) in suburban Washington, D.C. Local weather forecasters stated the storm could bring the heaviest snowfall in 90 years to the Washington area.

Strong winds caused whiteout conditions, particularly along the mid-Atlantic coast, with gusts up to 40 miles per hour (64 kph). Due this present serious condition most flights were canceled on Saturday at the Washington-Baltimore area’s three main airports and at Philadelphia International Airport. Driving in the region was perfidious and authorities advised motorists to stay off the roads. Even the Washington’s Metro train service would function only underground on Saturday and bus service has been canceled.
