Bakersfield College:Bakersfield College, or AC, was established in 1913 as the campus of Bakersfield High School, which at that time was known as Kern County Union High School. The school system is administered by the California Community Colleges. It extends over 150 hectares in northeast Bakersfield, California, and has two satellite campuses located in downtown Bakersfield and Delano, California. It is part of Community College District Kern.
Here at Bakersfield College, academic and student life are fully integrated into the curriculum that contribute to the overall development of students. Our management team works closely with faculty and staff to ensure that all classes, programs and services are linked together. Bakersfield College is organized administratively into three divisions:
