Philadelphia Home ShowPhiladelphia Home Show, The Philadelphia Home Show will have some Main Line flavor this year. New this year to the show, Jan. 14-22 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City Philadelphia, is the Clover Market packed with a carefully curated selection of vintage furniture and accessories from the region’s best dealers and finely handcrafted work from local artisans.

“Clover Market at the Home Show” will include an exclusive sampling of the merchandise typically featured at the monthly outdoor market in Ardmore, which reopens in April and features original art, antiques, vintage jewelry and clothing, artisan crafts and handmade items.

The Clover Market will have its own room at the show just off the main exhibit hall during the two weekends of the show: Jan. 14-15 and Jan. 21-22 (Saturdays 10 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.-6 p.m.).
The Main Line Martin Luther King Association will celebrate the late civil-rights leader’s national holiday, Jan. 16 this year, with two days of events starting the day before.

Sunday, Jan. 15, there will be a musical program and awards at Bryn Mawr College’s Goodhart Hall. NBC10 news reporter Monique Braxton will emcee.

The music: Tian Hui Ng, choral- and vocal-studies interim director at Haverford and Bryn Mawr colleges; the Main Line Interdenominational Choir directed by Harold Thompson; and organist Daren Miller.

The MLK honorees that day will be Kevin D. Stromann Sr., the Rev. Dr. Horace O. Russell and Saints Memorial Baptist Church’s Usher Board.
