The most recent development in the case is that letters of Casey Anthony, a person whom he befriended in prison. The letters do not mention anything specific to the disappearance or death of Caylee, so that the defense did not oppose his release. In the letters, talks about what he would do when she would go free.

In the letters, she mentioned that she had planned on taking Caylee and out of Orlando – but their plans were thwarted when the nurse did not tell him where was Caylee.
It also professes that she wanted to have seen Caylee disappeared the day better – and protected.

There are numerous reports that Casey admitted drugging Caylee so she could go out at night while the boy slept.

She even told a guy who used chloroform on the child, which is significant because officers found traces of drugs in the trunk of Casey‘s car.

Another individual who is aware of his dealings with Anthony said he gave three versions of the story of the night of the disappearance. This could indicate that Casey can not keep his story straight.

Casey has also been quoted as saying he regretted having a child so early in life.
There are many out there who are bent on Casey Anthony guilty in the death of his daughter. However, until proven otherwise, she is innocent.
