2010 Bowl Matchups

2010 Bowl Matchups, BBVA Compass Bowl – Pitt (7-5) Vs Kentucky (6-6): I’m not too impressed with the Wildcats. Team high score helpless. They also won in losses to bad teams like Ole Miss 4-8 6-6 and mediocre teams Georgia and Tennessee. Kentucky played Auburn closes enough, but struggled to barely beat Louisville. Then they beat Pitt? Of course they can, but I’ll try my luck with the Panthers. Winner: Pitt

Fiesta Bowl – UConn (8-4) Vs Oklahoma (11-2): All BCS game would be difficult for any Big East team. Personally, I think West Virginia is the only Big East team can win a game BCS. It would be great for UConn to win this match but I do not see it. Winner: Oklahoma

Champs Sports Bowl – West Virginia (9-3) Vs North Carolina State (8-4): As the season progressed, I think the Mountaineers have looked better and better. It is a clash of two defense teams. WVU has been good, not to give up more than 21 points all season, but the Wolfpack are ranked No. 2 defense in the country. However, climbers have been three losses to teams from all over .500, while North Carolina has lost games for some teams, including 6-6 and 6-6 fairly Medicor Clemson East Carolina. Winner: West Virginia

Car Care Bowl – South Florida (7-5) Vs Clemson (6-6): Clemson has had some pretty good victories and lost only to teams in 0500. They are also going to be basically playing a home game, so I’ll go with the Tigers. Winner: Clemson

New Era Pinstripe Bowl – Syracuse (7-5) Vs Kansas State (7-5): KSU does not have much of a resume, but they have Daniel Thomas rushed for nearly 1,500 yards this season. Syracuse, however, has a top 15 defense and will play a home game in New York. Moreover, I think they are motivated to do well after a pretty good season. Winner: Syracuse

Brady O ‘Beef Bowl – Louisville (6-6) Vs Southern Miss (8-4): It might be harder to predict. Southern Miss is a very good team and lost two games by a total of two points. But they have almost no defense, giving up 40 points or more five times this year amazing. Flip a coin on it. We know that the Cardinals defense is decent and with QB Adam Froman and RB Bilal Powell backs, I’ll say they have enough offense to win. Winner: Louisville

The Rose Bowl is where the game is interesting, as non-automatic qualifier and future member of the TCU Big East, 12-0, 11-1 squares off against Wisconsin in a battle of rushing and defense.
