Blue Moon New Years Eve

December 30, 2009 by · Comments Off on Blue Moon New Years Eve

Blue Moon New Years Eve:A blue moon New Years Eve sounds like it might have a double meaning.  In reality, there will be a blue moon New Years Eve 2010 and a partial eclipse.  What does a blue moon New Years Eve and partial eclipse mean?

First of all, a blue moon New Years Eve does not mean the moon will actually be the color blue.  The moon is only blue if there is dust from volcanic activity, which is the reason for this blue moon New Years Eve.  Fox News reports the blue moon New Years Eve will be the second full moon in North America this month.  The term for this occurrence is “blue moon”.

Beside a blue moon New Years Eve, there will be a partial eclipse.  It will not be visible from North or South America but can be seen in Asia, Africa and Europe.  To find out more about the blue moon New Years Eve and times for the partial eclipse, visit Fox News.

Meanwhile, I can’t resist posting a YouTube video of Sha Na Na singing “Blue Moon” for the 1978 hit movie “Grease”:
