Rhonda Aikman, Troy Aikman and his wife Rhonda are throwing in the towel after 10 years of marriage. Troy today issued the following statement: “This was a difficult decision for Rhonda and me, but after 10 years of marriage, we decided to separate. We remain deeply committed to our children.”
Aikman is a former quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys who was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and in the College Hall of Fame football in 2008.
Aikman has been named the most eligible bachelor in Dallas, Texas a month. It dates from Lorrie Morgan and he is rumored to have dated star, Sandra Bullock and Janine Turner.
Aikman married Rhonda Worthey, a publicist in Texas. They have two children together.
The couple married in 2000. “Rhonda Aikman”a had a daughter from a previous marriage. The Aikman have two daughters together.
The family has a house in Highland Park. Property records indicate “Rhonda Aikman”en November bought a five bedroom house in a nearby neighborhood.
Aikman is expected to be a part of the Fox broadcast team with Joe Buck for the Super Bowl on Feb. 6 at the Cowboys Stadium, with the Packers faces the Steelers.
Aikman said in a statement released Tuesday by the Dallas Morning News, confirmed the separation from his wife, Rhonda, in what he calls a “difficult decision” for both.
