Phil Harris,USsPost.Com,Phil Harris, commander of the Cornelia Marie, which is contained in the deadliest fishing in Alaska to the hospital after suffering a stroke.
Discovery Channel issued this statement:
Phil Harris suffered a stroke while in the port of discharge from the F / V Cornelia Marie. Had been transferred to a medical facility and receive the best care possible. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and will make more information available as we know it.
Harris has crab fishing on the Cornelia Marie for more than 18 years. Let’s hope he gets in the last 18.
