Thanks to an invitation to new friends in Prana Marketing, I was on the scene last Thursday to see this rock icon will perform at the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood, New Jersey, and we say, this lady still knows how to Success!

Through overlapping side door, down an alleyway, then up three flights of stairs, which is where I finally met with Pat and Neil just before their performance. Pat admitted that she had no pre-show ritual, and after seeing her perform that night, she does not need them! She and her husband / partner and collaborator rocked the house for about two hours. Pat and Neil played almost every song on his list of hits including “Love is a battlefield” Hearbreaker “,” Invincible “and more, plus lesser-known song that really touches Pat admitted the baby’s heart “Someone.”

Pat and her guitarist and husband of 28 years who continue to write songs together on tour with REO Speedwagon. Definitely not one-to-be-missed performance!

Thanks to his book publisher Harper Collins, which took a great picture of Pat holding his new book that was handed only his hot off the presses, “Between a Rock and heart.”

After meeting her in person, I must say she is by far the coolest lady around 60 rockinest and I’ve met in months! So, I said rockenist!
