Jackie Evancho America S Got Talent

August 11, 2010 by Post Team

Jackie Evancho America S Got Talent, YouTube’s experiment in “America’s Got Talent” turns out to be a bit of a disaster, but little Evancho Jackie saves the night.

1. Plutonic
I have to confess – I am a huge nerd for a university a capella music. My school was the real men. I am also big fans of Indiana Straight No Chaser, UPenn Off the Beat and washing Pikers U.. This group is great fun, although I do not think “Low” looks better voice. I agree with the springs you need less cheese, but I definitely think it should move forward.

2. Dylan Plummer
Dylan is an artist to jump the rope, which is clean, but not something that can sustain a Vegas show, I think. Man, if continues, will have Popeye forearms to the time 15. What this law needs is more people. Not all people of substance, but rope-jumping. Then it would be an act. So, I’m a little surprised Piers did not buzz out, seriously.

3. Puppy
This is an old man and his dog playing accordion. Except so far is only an old man playing guitar and singing and the poor dog looks confused. They have to get to the good stuff faster. Except, wait … what happened here? Even when first allegedly “played”, I could not hear and did not know what he was doing. Hmm. I feel bad for the old and the dog was adorable, but only … no.

4. Cam Hodges
Cam is a singer and guitarist, as this show needs more of them. Sounds like someone famous – Rob Thomas? John Mayer? I do not know, all sound the same to me. Hey, that’s fine, but I’m not surprised. His falsetto is a little rough. He’ll probably keep going because this show is cute and always become “America’s Got Canto.”

5. Ryan Rodriguez
So Ryan is a plumber / dancer by his wife. That’s adorable. He leaves as he came to the right of “Mad Max” and his dance group is all over the place. Sorry, Ryan. You seem very nice. But – on the side.

Less than half way, I feel like “America’s Got Talent,” might reconsider the idea of YouTube auditions.

6. Austin Anderson
Wow, stand-up is difficult for these things because you have to be fresh each week. It is not the same as dancing, singing and just picking different music every week. Then Austin starts his “jokes” – yikes. His line “that is not your baby” is the only thing that makes me laugh. Wow, that was painful.

7. Booker Forte
Booker is a hip-hop dancer and that’s fine, but again … this is nothing special. There were better dancers have been eliminated in this program. This experiment YouTube is proving to be a kind of failure. The fact that you can do that in a YouTube video does not mean that translates into a live act / big stage.

8. Pizza Pat
So a pitcher Pat pizza. Huh. I’m skeptical, but after you start and I think this could be the best all night. Piers buzzes again, but I think it was a bit hasty, especially when lighting the fire. I mean, everything is relative, because tonight is so relatively weak, but that was pretty impressive. Vegas is very cheesy, so it works. Howie says very snottily you see in the window of Pizza everywhere. I disagree – not everyone is as talented as Pat. Howie then makes a joke nasty yeast infection. Dude.

9. Kristina Young
I’m not won for her “audition video Amazing Grace”, but let’s give it a try. She is a lovely girl, no doubt help. She sings “Before He Cheats”, so that will be popular among voters as well. The chorus gets better verses, but his voice is almost too thick and not bright enough for the song. Does that make sense? Also – note that the low background? That was not there. Ehh, I’m not linking on it. (And in reproduction – no. Not even as good as initially thought.)

10. Master Alexander Bui
So here is a piano prodigy. His work is very nice and obviously incredibly talented, but …. zzzzz. I’m done with this. Not for this show. Happening. Whoa! He got buzzed by Sharon! That’s unusual. She agrees with me – not the right time and place. It was not bad enough overall quality of this show. Piers is clearly in love with him and his talent, but that’s because I like to pretend that Piers is a show smarter than him. Sorry, Tea & Crumpets. This is “America’s Got Talent”, not Juilliard.

11. Dan Sperry
This goth “anti-magician” makes a weird trick with a lifeguard and some dental floss. It is a bit small scale for television, but pretty good for a trick and the right boot of the monsters from Howie eff because Dan drops his dental floss in the general direction of Howie when finished with it. Sharon and Piers Howie laugh so much and runs for it. That was very good, I have curiosity to see what would a big trick.

12. Jackie Evancho
This is one of those children bizarre it sounds like you have 40 years of age. She is 10 and is an adorable, cute blonde. Going to be popular. Luckily, she can return with an amazing voice. She sings “O Mio Babbino Caro”, which is no easy task (I’ve sung for competitions). I do not like the way your voice is shifted to the back of the throat at times. It’s nicer when it is shiny and metallic. Still, she is very good. And not just because 10. She is good for anyone.

What a cutie. The judges love, she receives a standing ovation. How has this girl not actually auditioned for this show? Why you have to find it on YouTube?

Now, the reason for this girl (who sang an Italian aria) is different from the pianist’s because she’s more interesting to watch and listen. She just is. He may be the most talented person who made tonight, but if they advance? Not sure.

Anyway, she kept the kind of night, as Howie says without really tell. Please forward four acts of this group? If it’s four, I plutonic, Maestro Alexander Bui, Sperry Dan and Jackie Evancho – although I think it’s more Pizza Pat Vegas that three of the four acts.

What did you think the night of YouTube? And Jackie test YouTube and tonight’s performance is below, if you want to see.

Next week: Semifinals. Finally.
