curling gameCurling Game | USsPost.com:Curling Game is a team sport that has its similarities with lawn bowling and shuffleboard. Two teams of consisting of four players play the game. The aim is to slide a heavy and polished granite stone down the icy surface to the House (The House is a circular target made on the icy surface).

The purpose of the Curling Game is to complete each End (By completing a End means to slide 16 of the stones to the target). The team with more stones closer to the target than the other will be successful.

While sliding these stones towards the target, each team has tow sweepers who have brooms or brushes in their hands accompany each stone to imply their best judgments and by acting on the directions of their teammates to help in directing the stones to reach their final place, The House.

When both teams delivered eight stones, the team whose stones are closer to the button is given one point for each of its stone closer beating opponents’ closest stone. The stones out side the House are not given considered for points.

There are relaxes during the game and teammates may take turn for the task, for this reason the Curling Game is suggested comparable to chess and baseball.

The game of curling or Curling Game is said to be invented in medieval Scotland. The Curling Game has been an official Winter Olympic Game from 1998.

In 2006, the International Olympic Committee decided that all the demonstrative events of Curling Game would be considered Official Olympic events.
