Chris Lee Shirtless, Congress Chris Lee (R-Clarence) has resigned his seat last week after pictures of him shirtless on the surface gawker.com site. Lee issued a statement which in part reads: “It was a great honor to serve the people of Western New York I regret the hurt that my actions have caused my family, my staff and my constituents I deeply and sincerely apologize to all of them … I’ve made mistakes and I deeply committed to working as hard as I can to ask forgiveness. “
Gawker posted a photo of a shirtless Chris Lee Republic on Wednesday, claiming the Western New York’s Congress has sent a photo of a woman who posted an ad on Craigslist.
Lee responded to a post in the “women seeking men” Craigslist, according to the article by reporter Maureen O’Connor.
O’Connor reports Ad craigslist originally published on the morning of Friday, 14th January. He posed the question – “Will someone show me all men like CL toads? Gawker reports Lee replied to the post later in the afternoon with a picture of him shirtless in front a mirror. Lee used a gmail account confirmed by his own Gawker.
Rep. Lee was at the Capitol Wednesday afternoon, when Congress is in session. Reporters on Capitol Hill said that Lee left about 15 hours after Fox News, Lee told them he is not willing to talk and he has to discuss things with his wife.
