Andyman:As reported by CD101.com and NBC4i, Columbus lost a true champion of the music scene over the weekend. CD101 DJ and Program Director John Andrew “Andyman” Davis tragically drowned while vacationing with his family in Michigan. Details have not yet been released as the incident itself.
Andyman’s voice was the driving time of the afternoon and reported as CD101, has been named numerous times favorite DJ Columbus since joining the station in 1991. Andyman not only a voice for alternative music was a defender of the needy organization and operation of Andyman-Athon each year to raise money for local children’s charities.
Our hearts are with the family Andyman at home and the family of CD101 air. I’ve been a long time listener and a fan. Andyman, you will be missed.
