X Factor Jahmene Douglas Favourite, X Factor’s Jahmene Douglas has replaced Ella Henderson as the contestant being tipped as most likely to steal this year’s winner’s crown. The 22-year-old soul singer from Swindon has long been one of the most popular acts in the competition despite his shy nature and nervous demeanour.

And now he has taken over from long-running favourite, 16-year-old Ella Henderson, as the contestant most likely to win this year’s show, according to the latest bookies’ odds

William Hill is offering odds of 6/4 that Jahmene will pick up the winner’s title, while odds of Ella Henderson winning are currently sitting at 13/8.

Meanwhile, Boys’ contestant James Arthur’s odds have shortened and is now third favourite at 3/1.

Cheesy 1980s hits crooner, Over 28s hopeful Chris Maloney, is currently fourth favourite with odds of 14/1, boy band Union J next with 16/1 and Boys’ contestant Rylan Clark a 66/1 outsider.

Bookmaker Paddy Power is also tipping Jahmene Douglas as the most likely to win this year’s series, with odds of 11/8 being offered to punters, while Ella Henderson is 7/4 to pick up the 2012 X Factor championship.
