World Trade Center Lawsuit

July 17, 2013 by

World Trade Center Lawsuit, The time-lapse video of the World Trade Center reconstruction may have left a tear in your eye, but a current lawsuit might leave you with a different sentiment.

Arguments have kicked off for the trial in which the twin towers’ developer claims he should be paid billions from the airlines for their role in the 2001 tragedy that destroyed his buildings. Larry Silverstein, of World Trade Center Properties, has already collected more than $4 billion in insurance, but he says United Airlines, American Airlines, Boeing Co. and others should pay him too.

Among his complaints are that the airports failed to have proper security, the airlines didn’t protect passengers when the terrorists took over, and Boeing designed the jets which they are liable for.
